Title: NOAC on Super Nintendo
Post by: Penguin Slayer on June 07, 2022, 04:05:51 PM
There's a NES emulator program called Project Nested that 'converts' NES roms to SNES roms. It means that a lot of NES games can now be played on original SNES consoles using a flash cartridge. A lot of games from NOAC Plug and Plays run great and the latest release (v1.5) has improved emulation performance.

Most of the Atari Flashback games are compatible and I've got many other games working from a plug-and-play dump that I found. I've been searching for the Konami and Intellivision roms but no luck yet. My understanding is that they're not standard NES consoles either (despite being written for NOAC). Does anyone have these in a format that has been converted to a more standard mapper? I'd like to see if Time Pilot, Frogger and Scramble can work on a SNES  :D
