Title: Planet Smashers for NES, can it be fixed?

I've been able to track down the old Atari 7800 game Planet Smashers for the NES, but the game is totally broken.  I have no hacking or modding skills, but was curious if anyone thought the game could be fixed or if there is already a fix out there somewhere?  Used to be a favorite of mine and I'd love to play it on the NES for fun.  Anyone can help on this?
