Title: Have these been dumped?
Post by: LuxKiller65 on April 08, 2019, 11:08:03 PM
Hello porkies, I was going through my boxed bootlegs and I thought it might be good to ask if they've been dumped. Probably yes, but these should be the original older releases, so maybe they have not, you guys will know better than me. :)

Congratulations on finding boxed Super Mega games. Those are quite hard to find!

I believe all of them have good dumps available, with the exception of "Volley Volley". That one is in need of a redump, as it only exists as a mapper 3 hack.

Ah, that's good to know, thanks for the answer. Well, I guess I'll keep Volley Ball around for a while then (I have no tools to dump it... yet).

Any idea who MGC is? I have never seen another boxed game like that one.

Should you decide to obtain a Kazzo device for dumping, I can post or send you a dumping script for the Super Mega mapper, provided that you agree to make the dump available.

MGC means "Micro Genius Cartridge". Micro Genius is a brand of TXC Corporation.

They've updated the hardware and discontinued the old one. :)

You can still get models operating on anago from taobao (cheap) or ebay (slightly more expensive). The new INL retro doesn't support dumping cartridge from a software, you have to flash it with a custom version of the firmware for every cartridge you want to dump.
