Hi guys!
Maybe someone knows who first started producing them. Either someone has information about cartridges like these

Though question. They seem to originate from around 1988 in Taiwan.
The first designs didn't necessarily have "TV Game Cartridge" written and had eventually fancier designs. Here's for example:

The oldest cartridge I can date that have the yellow TV Game Cartridge shells are those extremly old Super Mario Bros. 3 copies with huge PCBs, they seem to be from late 1988.

Maybe this is a prototype. I have a SMB 3 like this. In Chinese auctions, most of the cartridges are yellow TV Game. Is it possible that it was the Chinese (not Taiwanese) who started the production of T.V Game Cartridges?
I think it's very interesting to find the answer.

No, it's just that either one of these is based on the other's design.
While indeed most cartridges from Mainland China use those cases, they don't seem as old as the ones used on some Taiwanese cartridges.

Yes, I think this is the early 90s. Different plastic. Small PCBs. And made by "No Name companies"
