Title: Odd Doraemon Bootleg
Post by: Tarcoon on April 24, 2016, 01:51:19 PM
Before you ask, no, this is not the Somari hack related to Doraemon, this is a different pirate. I know that the graphics come from the official Doraemon Famicom game, and that the original game is The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle.
Here's the ROM (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_6yWYHPFiBrSkJQeUdtdHg0VjA&usp=drive_web&pageId=100313029281859612672)

Did you find some other odd stuff in that CD? I (and probably every other member of the forum) would love to take a look at those.

It also has this image on the CD.

10 roms? What a waste of CD space! The guy who made this thing could of at least put the whole NonGoodNES rompack in there!

Can you post the other 9 ROMs? And take a picture of the CD?

There's one big giant hole in logic that might lead to the evidence of this being fake: Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle never came out for the famicom. Instead, it was a game based off of "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?" for the Famicom Disk System. Then again, the pirates could have used the American rom. So...

nah there are pirate hacks based on the US Crazy Castle, that bit stands up. the biggest hole here is that it's obviously fake as hell

Did anybody have a backup copy of that ROM, or this thread was indeed a fake since the gecko?
Sorry for the necrobump to the old topic, but if that was by any chance legit I would have included in my ROM archive. :P

Hope you guys don't mind, but I did manage to find the ROM for the Doraemon Crazy Castle hack sitting in one of the NES ROMsets I have. For those who missed out on the original link that are still looking for this Crazy Castle hack, here you are (https://www10.zippyshare.com/v/kmKgfMX0/file.html).
Alternate link just in case (https://cloud.mail.ru/public/28yK/43uKVMf8J).
