Title: Any NES bootlegs you "swear you saw!" once?
Post by: HummerBootlegFan1992 on April 18, 2015, 08:21:26 AM
Has anyone ever remembered a certain NES bootleg game but there is no/not enough/little information about it on the internet, like games sold to a limited amount of people?
Examples:
Games that aren't dumped
Games that don't have many copies
Games only on a rare multicart

The Dynavision Multicarts, I'm in a journey to find this rom for Years, but it's not dumped! ! !
If cah4e3 would dump these roms I would shit my pants.  O.o
Also there's a zapper game in these multicarts called ''SNOWFIELD WAR''
That is a duck hunt hack, that you are shooting helicopters in a snowfield.  :)
There's alot of multicarts selling at mercadolivre. I'm Waiting for ages to Cah4e3 notice.
Oh, really? You mean this thing (http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Dynavision_Xtreme)?
Strange as to how it would have enough memory for an actual number of games.

I B it's a absurd, how they can put alot of games just into a NES!
I Guess it's modified slighty. to BREAK NES Limitations.
Also, that are so dumb that they made the page 3 reversed

Edit: I have found the Rare Dynavision Manual! in PDF

Also, I renember seeing, a television that runs NES, It's has a LG Television, my cousin had it, you can play games on it, and got alot of romhacks that looks like the Inventor ones, like one hack of antartic adventure here you are controlling a UFO, instead of a penguin, it's pretty bizarre, also in it got alot of hacks, a hack of Baseball, that you play that looks like a bunch of Blooby Characters.
I renember of it having 10-games-in-1

The ''Awesome'' Controller.
It's too damn hard playing with this SHET, How could I Play Antartic Adventure with This Chit!

I remember seeing a Famiclone in a mall that had Super Shrek Bros. running on it once, plus it had the Pocket Monsters game. Though since they're both dumped i'm not sure that'd count.
Funny you mention this one, I got it with a cheap Famiclone many years ago. I knew it had a few original Zapper games (Space Flight of Gun or whatever) but had no idea this Snowfield War was a Duck Hunt hack. I never did play it, I'll have to check it out tonight.

I remember one BADASS game on famiclone, but i Can't remember its name.
I only remember how it looked like, and it sounds like this:

- You have a lot of characters to choose in roster (and even than that, you can change selected character into another one by collecting 'something' in any stage)

- Every character has a different abilities and weapons.

- Gameplay was almost like from megaman/ultraman

- The roster of characters had a commentator which says 'Choose your character' with some girl

- The intro had a Alien spaceship

That's all I can remember. Sadly,I don't have that cart anymore :(

Well... I don't know if it's the right place to post... But there is the recreation of the theme of 64-in-1...

This theme is so peaceful...

A Power Joy with the shape of a DreamCast controller. I remember playing on it with a friend, and he lent it to me once. When i gave him the console back, it somehow disappeared. The title screen said "Digimon Aventure" and had pictures of some Digimons, Pikachu and Buzz Lightyear. Some of the only games i remember being on it are Joust, Super Mario Bros and a strange version of Brush Roller that froze after the first level.

Yeah, but it was Digimon themed. I'm actually looking for some music (or even better, a ROM) for this Famiclone. Here, this video by okchief420 explains it.

I still feel like I remember distinctly seeing an unlicensed port of The Mask from SNES to the NES. Not a cart for sale but rather screenshots obviously captured from a TV and put on some website. Even CaH4e3 once had this game on his wanted list at the front page of his site. But I've looked at archive.org captures of all the old sites I visited back in the day that covered pirates (namely NESWorld) and have found nothing.

Of course, some might be aware that a common FC pirate of the NES game Kick Master has The Mask on the label despite having nothing to do with the game, so I'm guessing I saw that years back and somehow made up a whole port existing. But it doesn't explain my memory of seeing the screenshots of the game having been backported to NES. I still remember one shot in my mind of the Mask doing some move that makes one of his ears become big, or he's honking a huge horn, I can't remember which.

I feel like this is a mystery for FC pirate collectors as Shazaam is for people who remember the 90s. I swear I saw it and yet there's no evidence of it out there. So far my only backup is the fact that Cah4e3 was looking for it at one point, so I can't be dreaming, can I?

I remember a really plug'n'play that had a tank game but the sprites were ladybugs.
