Wish the OP gave more details, but it's no doubt just Sonic Adventure 7 with a new intro or something. Hopefully someone can get the ROM working, since no emulators appear to work with it yet.
-
I'm pretty sure it is just SA7 with a different title screen, judging by this page (http://sost.emulationzone.org/sonic_adventure_8/whatis/index.htm) I found a few years back. It has the same horrible colour palette as SA7 and it comes in a rumble pack cartridge like a lot of Yong Yong games. Can't get it working on Visual Boy Advance, although booting it up does play the intro theme from S3DB5 at a slightly lower pitch.

ah, finally - its a shame it doesnt work in emulators though.
tbh i'm more interested in that "Sonic 3 Fighter Sonic" someone mentioned in the thread:

Even though this game is a hack of Sonic 7, I still want to play it. Too bad it doesn't work on any emulator and I hope someone can create a patch to make it work. I don't know if it's Yong Yong's shoddy programming skills that makes the game unplayable or does it contain copy protection.
And Taizou... Sonic 3 Fighter Sonic? Wow, I wonder what that's like. More likely to be a fighting game with Sonic characters :P

Sonic 3 fighter Sonic may be a real fake, they put nothing in it or maybe a basketball game. As I heard on Sonic Gear.
-
I think you misread what that site was trying to say :P The person who wrote that saw the game on eBay and have no idea what it was, so they were just joking about what the cartridge could possibly contain. It's already confirmed on the Sonic Retro posting above that it's a pirate original.
-
I think if it is patched it would work because Super Mario 3 Special had same programmer and cartridge type and it was patched and working so there may be a patch for the cartridge type where a battery is needed.
-
Ohh.. Sorry then Barver... Did anyone play it???
-
Have you even looked at the post that was linked above? :P
