Title: What happened to the IRC?

Recently I noticed Stormbit's Web IRC went down, and logged in using Mibbit. Couldn't believe what I noticed: no channel slogan, only YongYong logged in and since then nobody's visiting it. :\

I can make a small server for you guys if you want an IRC channel again. I have a server that's powerful enough for one. Let me know so I can figure out what IRCd I have thats easy for me to configure and easy for you guys use. :)

There is none, a while ago the IRC server was eventually ditched. That post was supposed to be the other thread regarding the new IRC server but I remember locking it and saying I disapprove of the fact they went and made a new one without notifying me. For some reason, it got moved to the reference topics of the staff forum. (I can't remember if I moved it or someone else did)

I know this board's days are numbered, but I don't wanna make another thread regarding IRC, so... I made a temporary channel thing, so I could revive the IRC server someplace else. Someplace I can connect the Discord/IRC bridge to, and that also has proper webchat. In the meantime...

Server: efnet.portlane.se
Port: 6667
Channels: #spinkicks
 
The bot's still WIP, so it likely won't carry through all the messages or work strictly 24/7. Still, feel free to try it out.
