Title: Which Makon Soft/Yong Yong games are dumped?
Post by: AttackedbyGlitch on July 30, 2013, 03:12:17 PM
Which Makon Soft/Yong Yong games have ROMs dumped? I've always been interested in playing their games, just to see how bad they are. I know that Pokémon Adventure, Rockman 8, Sonic 3D Blast 5, Sonic Adventure 7, Sonic Adventure 8 and Super Mario Special 3 are dumped, but are there any others?

Also, I remember finding patched versions of Rockman 8, Sonic 3D Blast 5 and Super Mario Special 3 that worked in VBA, but I unfortunately don't have them anymore. I've tried looking for them with Google but I couldn't find them. If someone knows where I could find them, that would be great.

Sonic 3D Blast 5 and Rockman 8 both work in other emulators, VBA isn't all that great for unlicensed GB stuff really.

Well, Digimon 2, 4, 5 (use the [a1] dump for 5. The normal one breaks half way through..) and Jade are dumped. The engine for these is better than the other stuff that's dumped, though.

Digimon yellow jade can be found in taizou's dumps in his handheld underground pages. Though I don't know about those other digimon games you've mentioned.

Digimon Yellow Jade's a Sintax game, not Makon Soft.  The others are the minor hacks of Digimon 02 and commonly have that number before the other number (Digimon 02 Jade, Digimon 02 5, etc.)

So, Taizou didn't dump it?[/quote]No, since Makon games have some copy protection which's tricky and difficult to bypass.

Not sure about dumpage, but I have Sonic 7, Sonic 5 (on a multicart), Super Mario 3, and Mega Man 8, all of which I might be throwing up on eBay in the near future for those that want to own a physical copy of this stuff.

Can't you just mail them to me, or something? I just don't want to end up not having them. So can we just do that or something? :[]

There are Li Cheng versions of Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Diamond, and Mewtwo Strikes Back on Taizou's site, hhug.me . I also have a rom for Rockman 8, which was given to me by a friend so I'm not sure where to download it from. This rom doesn't work on my VBA, but works with HHUGBoy. I have included the file below

I also have Pokemon Adventure, this should be a relatively easy rom to find.
