Nestopia is an open source GPL program, and requires source to be released along with binary. Please release the source so that the rest of the community can benefit, and the Linux and libretro ports can benefit from the new mappers.

At least FCEUX 2.2.1 can run all dumps by CaH4e3.

No KAGE, nes_fan is trying to say that you shouldn't pack an open-source program without the source, or else it isn't fair on people who want to modify it.

most of those are emulated also in Cah4e3 FCEU build, so the code is at least partially available... if you managed to improve emulation, why not to share the new findings so that other can benefit as well?

Maybe he is embarrassed of his code. ;)

The original author chose to release Nestopia under the GPL so that any changes would go back to the community. That's why the emulator is still alive today. Someone picked it up in 2012 and has been developing it on github since then, out in the open.

I don't see why there can't be a source code release. Even if there are bugs and shitty coding, the community will find/fix them if they can see the code!

Source code has been with my lover departure , all classified as starting point
