Title: Help me identify a lost Famicom fighter.
Post by: TKP on February 15, 2012, 09:38:39 PM
Trying to hunt down the title of a cartridge I had stolen from me a few years back. I believe it was published around 1996 as a single game cartridge. I remember it was a yellow cartridge and had the heft of a legitimate cart unlike most of my other odd imports. I believe it had the word fighter in the title, because I bought it hoping for a Street Fighter port. It played very similar to street fighter but had what seemed to be original character designs. There was a character who stretched out similar to Dhalsim, I seem to recall him having a turban and a generally genie vibe. I also recall a character with a peg leg and possibly a pirates hat, he may have done a thousand hand slap (if he didn't some on in the game did). The sprites were flickery as all hell but the game played better than some of the other hacks I owned. If any one knows what I'm rambling about please inform me!

1996, hmm... Was it named Street Fighter V Turbo 60? BTW, it's one of the horrible Street Fighter NES ports made by Cony Soft.

I know Fighting Hero 3 had a pirate fighter in it but I don't remember anyone with a turban though.

World Hero(es)? Not the Cony garbage but the fighter based on the Super Fighter III engine.
