Finally, this "gem" can run as a normal mapper 4 game. I spent a whole evening removing the mapper 114 copy protection, changing register addresses and removing all self-checks and anti-debug traps.

Congratulations on the conversion! I tried to convert Super Donkey Kong from Hosenkan (game runs on same mapper and engine) to mapper 4 using technical references between the two mappers and it got the CHR going, but didn't initialize the game. How difficult was it for you to do the conversion? I couldn't even imagine. You're a wizard to the community.

I'm glad to see that such uninteresting ports are still interesting to someone. Nevertheless, I dare to disappoint you - the MMC3 mapper hack was made almost 2 months ago, and I improved some graphics in it (except for the levels).

Ready (patched) version is below.
Also, "Toy Story" has been improved (don't worry, all involved are listed in the credits): https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/8386/

NewRisingSun, you missed one important detail that is present in all ports by Ei-How Yang - they also check the integrity of the CHR-ROM. It's easy to check, it's enough to delete at least one tile (or more tiles) in the CHR-ROM, the game will freeze after the warning screen.

I would rather have a straight mapper conversion than somebody's idea of a graphical improvement of it. That is what my mapper 4 conversion offers. It's not designed to be "CHR-hacking-ready", either.
Edit: I am surprised you did not correct the glaring grammatical error at the start ("It begin in old London Town") in the improvement hack as well.  ;)

However, it wouldn't hurt to do it.
Here is our version, with the corrected Disney logo. The logo itself has been corrected in the graphic editor.

My improvement primarily concerned grammatical errors made in the main text, and I'm also not an English speaker, this is so, by the way.
