ooh, that's interesting. i wonder if it'll run any VT03 cartridges? I don't know of many, usually VT03 games are just built in, but Qi Sheng Long released a 72 pin 5 in 1 VT03 cart for one of their famiclones, and a 60 pin 69 in 1 cart for some Wii clone... theoretically the NEX should be able to run both, since it has 72 and 60 pin slots. but in my experience QSL never really concern themselves with interoperability with other companies' products (well, apart from the ones they're cloning), so maybe not.
oh and I just got one of those 69 in 1 cartridges, someone was selling all the accessories from an EZi on eBay so i bought it for 99p mainly out of curiosity about that one cart. but now i have yet another set of useless plastic accessories as well, *and* three more crap wireless controllers, *and* a 16 in 1 cart that only contains games that I already have on a Wiii3 cart but which doesn't work on the damn Wiii3 anyway. (edit: and neither do the controllers! what the hell, Qi Sheng Long.)
the 69 in 1 obviously doesnt work on the Wiii3 either (I was hoping it would, ah well) but it does work on my Power Joy Supermax, to an extent (the Supermax is OneBus based but its only VT02, so about half the games don't start or have glitched graphics). so I guess it would probably run on the NEX too.
