I've been experimenting with making a custom famicom multicart. I'm making the ROM image myself and planning on sending it to a reproduction cart maker. I've got some experience with it, but I need suggestions. Here is the games list so far:

Rules:
1. They must be actual pirate games, no hacks of legitimate ones.
2. No Nice Code games (You'll see why)
3. The games must be already dumped (except for maybe Titenic or Bugtris)
I'm also accepting suggestions for a label.
How are you going to mix all those complicated mappers all together ?
Just reading #3 makes me wonder. M090 (JY) + M115 (NT) + M187 (NT) + M189 (SF4) + M211 (JY) + M121 (NT) + M118 (B&W). I'm not even talking about Sachen and Waixing mappers.

(I'd guess approximately 8MB, but I'm not sure on that)
UNIF doesn't mean it'll support any game. All UNIF ROMs works differently (I think they have mapper programmed in the game data but I'm not sure). I don't want to break your hopes but...
I think the problem is that a lot of the games listed would have to be converted to MMC3 in order to work, and there's no guarantee that all of the games would work properly afterwards. :\
Some of them probably won't survive the MMC3 conversions, but if that happens I'll trim it down to a 40-in-1 or similar. Somari and Kart Fighter already have MMC3 conversions, so there's 2 we don't need to worry about. Hummer games, from my experience, are fairly easy to convert. The ones I'm particularly worried about are the Waixing and Sachen games.

Not all of those Waixing games will run on mapper 4, because most of them are RPGs running on weird mappers (Bio Hazard runs on mapper 15, so it may not work properly on a MMC3 multicart).
Well one thing to keep in mind with MMC3 is that the PRG-ROM is limited to 512K and (I think) the same applies to CHR-ROM. Basically, that eliminates a lot of RPGs by Waixing and SNT. :\
Instead of making just one big friggin' cart, why not make a series of them? At least you can sort of get around the mapper problem.

NROM
CNROM
GNROM (I think)
UNROM
MMC3
Some Tengen and Namco mappers which I think behave similarly to MMC3
A few multicarts support custom Super Game mappers as well, but that's about it.

Depending on how big these multis are supposed to be, I'd suggest an average of 12 games per multi.
Alright, so you've got an awesome games list here, but as it's already been mentioned, it would be practically impossible to get all these different mapper games on to one cart. How about some Hummer/Waixing/Sachen 4-in-1s, or something? I think that might be cool.. Of course if space would allow it, you could mix it up a little:
1 - Somari
2 - Kart Fighter
3 - AV girl fighting
4 - Aladdin
1 - MK 2 Special
2 - Super fighter 3
3 - Waixing's Link to the Past
4 - SF Alpha Zero 2 '97
Just as an example of 2 NES multicarts I'd f#@&ng love, if they were ever made :P
EDIT: Wow, I somehow missed the last 4 posts before me. Do you think 12 on one cart would be possible? Most multi's I've seen that actually have decent games are usually 4-in-1s.

-Panda Adventure
-Space Shuttle Exploration

Fixed it ^_^
Ok, thanks for fixing it :) but I discovered another mistake... "Earthworm Jim 2" by Waixing? Well, there are only two EWJ2 pirates out there: the Ka-Sing/Shin-Shin one and the Super Game one. Waixing did not release any of them, they released only Happy Biqi as an EWJ2 ripoff.
BTW, I'd suggest Jing Hua Yuan and Golden Axe (the latter can be downloaded from here (http://www.mediafire.com/?covrk0x10ue5zmj), credits to BrydoRX for the link).

Waixing did list an Earthworm Jim game for sale at one point, so they might have made one and turned it into Happy Biqi later... I've never seen it but it could be out there.
If anyone provides MMC3 conversions of any of the games listed, they will get a 10% discount when they go up for auction.
Suggestions for-
46. Doki Doki Panic (Pirate cart)
47. Final Fight 3
48. Super Donkey Kong 2
49. Super Donkey Kong - Xiang Jiao Chuan
50. Jing Hua Yuan
51. Panda Adventure (MMC3 version)
52. Impartial Judge
53. Zheng Jiu Shi Ji
54. Underground Mission
55. Zhen Jia Hou Wang

57. Di Dao Zhan (Waixing)
58. The Legend / Street Fighter IV (ripped version)
59. Night Pearl (AKA Ye Ming Zhu)

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've abandoned the 60-in-1 with all those scrambled mappers and have decided to make several of them instead. But still, thanks!
