Title: Pocket Kyoro Chan
Post by: KingPepe on May 31, 2011, 06:33:39 PM
So my friend sent me a few Famicom games (nothing pirated, it's Kyoro Chan Land and Hi no Tori - Gaou no Bouken) and a Game Boy game known as Pocket Kyoro Chan. Has anyone ever played this game by any chance? I have no idea what the game is about.

I'd say it's Castelian, but you already told me it wasn't. :P

Apparently, from a few clips I found on YouTube, it's actually a point-and-click adventure game of some sort. Of course, that means it's text-heavy...and in Japanese...

^ Yeah, that's the problem. The whole thing is in Japanese and I don't really know how to progress any further.

I know about this game. I used to have it at one point, but I don't have it any more. It did appear to be a sort of point and click adventure but I never managed to get past Kyoro-chan's house because I wasn't sure what to do. There was a Japanese guidebook for it as well (which I also used to own, but don't have anymore). Gamefaqs has a page about it (http://www.gamefaqs.com/gameboy/570024-pocket-kyoro-chan/images). There's also some screenshots here (http://www14.atwiki.jp/gball/pages/637.html).
