Title: Weird KT cartridge
Post by: bart on October 20, 2020, 11:37:48 AM
These are a few cartridges I got today.

I want you to look at the one titled "Super Konami".
WHAT?! It has a sports game. The title is in Japanese, so I am not sure what it is.
It also says: © CHINES 1998
Why is it credited to chines? Is it because Ka Sheng/Golden Card (one of my carts fixed spelling) is Chinese?
WHY IS IT A SPORTS GAME WITH A LABEL WITH MARIO SAYING SUPER KONAMI???
I'm sure that this cartridge would be in Dendy Chronicles #8 if Kinaman was Polish.

I am not super knowledgeable on famicom stuff, but I am pretty sure Ka Sheng is Chinese. As for the weird sticker, there seems to be a lot of misleading stickers on bootleg games. They probably just wanted to use buzz words, and some iconic imagery

Super Konami is likely just Wai Wai World.

Anyway, these later cartridges usually features barely related cover. It was a race to get the cheapest products with what was quickly available.
