I see it's not mentionned anywhere on the site but the SuperVision was released by Tiger Electronics in Taiwan as well. (Taike, not the Tiger we know in America, they seem to have copied Tiger's old logo).

They've updated the hardware and discontinued the old one. :)

http://www.infiniteneslives.com/inlretro.php

You can still get models operating on anago from taobao (cheap) or ebay (slightly more expensive). The new INL retro doesn't support dumping cartridge from a software, you have to flash it with a custom version of the firmware for every cartridge you want to dump.

No, it's just that either one of these is based on the other's design.
While indeed most cartridges from Mainland China use those cases, they don't seem as old as the ones used on some Taiwanese cartridges.

Though question. They seem to originate from around 1988 in Taiwan.
The first designs didn't necessarily have "TV Game Cartridge" written and had eventually fancier designs. Here's for example:

The oldest cartridge I can date that have the yellow TV Game Cartridge shells are those extremly old Super Mario Bros. 3 copies with huge PCBs, they seem to be from late 1988.

Nice! Knowing the built quality of these newer clone I really recommend that you send it to a pro (krzysiobal, kevtris, etc.). Or if you want to get rid of it (sell it), I'll manage that on my end.

Hi,

There are quite a few Family Karaoto releases. Is it the one with Metal Slug, Mario Kart? There are others that contains just standard Nintendo licensed games.

Dumping built-in games is difficult. Unless the games are present on a separate memory that can be desoldered then read with a EPROM programmer, you might want to send it to a professionnal (krzysiobal on nesdev.com forums can do that, for example).
