Mega Drive/Genesis / Thunderbolt 2 on Genesis?
« on: May 05, 2013, 08:25:07 PM »
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEGA-MEGA-DRIVE-THUNDERBOLT-II-2-V-RARE-CHINESE-ONLY-SHMUP-UNDUMPED-/111067258664?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item19dc1fdf28

I'm guessing it doesn't have anything to do with Gamtec's "Thunderbolt 2" on the NES. The seller says it's undumped, but the screenshots make it look too professional to be unlicensed. I have to say though, the status bar looks a lot like the one in Gamtec's "Magic Girl" on the Genesis.

2000-present / Digimon 2 by SNT rom?
« on: May 01, 2013, 11:05:56 AM »
I hate to come across as an annoying rom beggar, but I want to do a video on it and I can't find the rom anywhere. I know it's dumped, but whenever I try to get it from a site that claims to have it, it's been removed. Can someone help me?

Game Boy / Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on the Game Boy Color

What do you think? I would be really interested to see if this is an actual port or an original game. I'm not that familiar with the cartridge designs, does the cart look like something made by a specific bootleg company?

2000-present / Pokemon Leaf Green by Jncota
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:53:35 AM »
Not sure if anybody posted any info on this, but Jncota ported over Pokemon Leaf Green to the Famicom using the same engine as their other Pokemon games. I have to ask a question, are Jncota and SNT the same company? If so, this is probably the most pointless pirate ever made. It's not bad at all, but it is very similar to SNT's Pokemon Yellow port. Like that game, it has music from Ruby or Sapphire, and a very similar graphic style. The maps are more of a direct port than the SNT Pokemon Yellow port, but there are glitches. Like, you can actually walk through certain trees. Again, it's not bad, but it was actually released over 3 different cartridges making it even more pointless, and the third cart is almost impossible to find. It has the same cartridge art as the second one.

I may post footage of this port on my YT channel, and I even have an old video review of this game if anyone is interested. It uses the computer voice though.

Game Boy / Rockman and Crystal
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:29:51 AM »
I've been trying to find Rockman and Crystal for quite some time now, I have been able to get ahold of Rockman DX3 and DX4, but no luck with this one. Could someone direct me to where it might show up again, or could someone please give me the Chinese name?

I have been browsing the Internet and getting familiar with many bootleg companies, Vast Fame being my favorite, and Shenzhen Jncota being a close second. I am very impressed with all of the collecting so many of you have done, especially Nusuttosan. I have recently been uploading my own remixes of Vast Fame songs on Youtube.

Some may be better than others, my recent ones have many more chords and better instruments. I take requests for any Vast Fame songs as well, but things are going to be a bit slow for the next few days.

I have many undumped Jncota titles, like Pokemon Leaf Green, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Crystal, Pokemon Diamond cartridges 1, 2 and 3 (Actually Ruby or Sapphire) and more. I also own a copy of Rockman Z and Final Fantasy IX on the GBC and I would love to dump them, but I have heard that they might have copy protection. I do not know much about dumping though.

I hope to learn more about these interesting games and thanks to you all for starting this community and adding to it.
