2000-present / Looking for ROMs and stuff
« on: April 09, 2016, 11:42:32 PM »
Hey guys! I'm looking for (a lot of) ROMs that I haven't been able to find.

Mostly, I'm looking for some separate ROMs of the games on some Power Joy multicarts. (Navigator and Supermax). I haven't been able to get the Power Joy ROMs to work in an emulator.

•Dragon Running
•War of Strike Mouse
•Panda Adventure
•Space Shuttle Exploration
•Finger DDR
•Sanguo Chunqiu: Sichuan Sheng
•Pet Dance (the hack of Picadance on the Pokémon 4-in-1)

Next, I'm looking for separate ROMs on the Super New Year Cart 15-in-1. I already have found some of them. Here's the ones I need:

•Pink Jelly
•Rings
•Titenic
•The Duck
•The Egg

Next, I'm looking for a separate ROM of the complete version of Hummer Team's port of Super Mario World. The one that was on the 45-in-1 multicart.

I'm also looking for a ROM of Dance Y2K.

I'm not sure if ZDog has been dumped, but if it is, is there a separate ROM of that Ping Pong game?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if I posted this in the right part of PGC forums, but whatever.  :P

So, I've been opening up some Hummer Team games with a hex editor text editor and found some (kinda) interesting stuff.  :)

Apparently, there's a TON of uncompiled source code in Kart Fighter. (I put it in a spoiler because it's a lot of code).  :

Well, that's it for the uncompiled Kart Fighter code. Maybe I missed something, but probably not.

Anyway, somebody should probably look into this and see if there's anything interesting in it. I do programming, but not this low-level machine code stuff. :\

Next off, I found what might be some unused error messages in Somari.

The text "*** STACK OVERFLOW ***" appears five times in the ROM. A stack overflow is a kind of error that can happen in computers, so it seems like an error message. There's also one part that says "Invalid stack".

I also looked in The Hummer and Sonic 3D Blast 5 (the hacks of Somari) and in both of them, the "*** STACK OVERFLOW ***" message only shows up four times, and the "Invalid stack" message doesn't show up at all.

So... is that important? I'm not sure.

Bootleg Bazaar / *ended*
« on: March 31, 2016, 07:56:37 PM »
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy/trade for some bootleg Famicom games, and a couple plug and play systems.

Here's what I'm looking for:
•Samuri 60-in-1
•ZDog
Power Joy Navigator
•Power Joy Supermax.
•Kart Fighter
•Windows '98 (the bootleg Famicom port of the operating system)
•JY-120 (A) Super 45-in-1 multicart with Hummer Team's Super Mario World.
•Contra Spirits (the bootleg port to the Famicom)
•Sonic 3D Blast 6 (somari hack)
•Sonic and Knuckles 5 (somari hack)
Doraemon (somari hack)
•Angry Birds (not the NiceCode port, the cool one with PCM samples and stuff)
•Angry Birds (again, not the NiceCode port, I want the hack of Moai-Kun)
•Plug & Play system with Roge Brer/Rouge Brothers (The hack of Mario Bros. I want the later revision that replaces the shellcreepers with an orange Meowky from Mappy)
•Family Karaoto (the plug and play with the Mario Kart hack of F-1 Race)

If you want to trade, you can see if you want anything on my website. I have a page with a list of all my games here, and  you can search on that site for pictures.

Well anyway, send me a message if you have any of it and want to sell/trade.

Thanks.  :)

2000-present / Game Prince RS-1 Portable Famiclone
« on: February 28, 2016, 03:58:39 PM »
I got this portable famicom thing that looks like a Game Boy Micro, the Game Prince RS-1. Its pretty neat. It has 152 games built in (although a few are repeats), and it runs off 3 AAA batteries. It also comes with a cable that lets you connect it to a TV. Mostly it has official games, but there are some other ones. It has NiceCode's ports of Plants Vs. Zombies and Angry Birds. It also has some hacked versions of official games.

This forum doesn't let you post more than 10 images, so if you want to see more you can go  here.

I couldn't find a game list on the internet, so I made one:

1993-1999 / List of Union Bond games.
« on: February 06, 2016, 12:44:55 AM »
I got a Pokémon 4-in-1 cartridge, and I think It's pretty good. :) What other games did Union Bond make? I'd like to try them. I couldn't find a page about Union Bond on BootlegGames Wiki, so I'm asking here.

2000-present / details about different Power Joy models
« on: January 17, 2016, 10:16:40 PM »
Does anybody know what games are included on the different models of the Power Joy line of famiclones? Also I'd like any other information about the differences between them. Also, the one I have right now runs on four AAA batteries, even though all the things I read said that it ran on AA batteries. Do some models run on AA batteries and some on AAA batteries?

I have a 3-in-1 multicart, but when I put it in my Family Game famiclone, the graphics are all glitched up. The games play normally, though, other than the graphics. I heard that games like these use graphics compression stuff that doesn't work on official famicoms. My famiclone uses all the same chips as a normal famicom, so it can't run these games. I read somewhere that Power Joy famiclones use the NES on a chip to run games, which can be different than usual famicoms. Will Power Joy systems run cartridges with compressed graphics? If not, what would be a cheap famiclone that can play games like this? Thanks.
