Game Boy / Emo Dao, West Story, and Vast Fame
« on: December 20, 2012, 03:45:07 AM »
I see that Emo Dao and West Story are often credited as being developed by Vast Fame; can anyone offer concrete proof to that?

I own a copy of West Story, but the first stage is different to the one that can be seen in the video on youtube.  The only sign of a publisher or developer or anything are the words "TAC" on the box, and who knows if that is really what these words mean.  Cart is in a clear case, circuit board reads "VF-001" on the back, could VF stand for Vast Fame?!

As for Emo Dao, once again the box and manual are devoid of any useful identifier.  Box is GBA style though...

Anyway, just wanting to hear how these games got attributed to VF.  I know they appeared on a multicart together, but I would think that evidence is shaky at best.

Have a copy of Thunderbolt II (think that is the name off the top of my head) for trade, or possibly for sale.  Game is cart and manual.

Is the same as the game on this page:

Bootleg Bazaar / Unlicensed GB games and Sega for trade (or sale)
« on: December 01, 2012, 10:53:53 AM »
Hi everyone, I have some unlicensed gameboy games for sale or trade.  I would prefer to trade these for other games by Sintax, Vast Fame, Sachen, or Gowin, but that my last thread went unanswered, I am also willing to sell these out to people.  I will list 4 games today, but I think I *may* have a few others to list later on, just need to look.  Oh, also, I will probably be undergoing surgery on Wednesday, so if you don't hear from me for a few days, please don't panick.

Sintax Games:

Gowin Games:

Sachen Games:

You know you want a piece of this goodness.  ;)  Will do a straight up trade for other unlicensed games I need.  Going for a CIB set of games from all these companies, so...I want to trade your shit for my shit, basically :)

PM me if interested, let's try to work out a deal of sorts.
Made a mistake when posting these, forgot to list the sale price.  I will do $20 each on them, if no one wants to trade.  Most are new-old stock, though played slightly by me.

Bootleg Bazaar / WTB/WTT: Game Boy Stuff (Sintax + Gowin)
« on: November 25, 2012, 01:53:43 PM »
Hi everyone, I am trying to collect complete sets of Game Boy games for Gowin, Sintax and Vast Fame (though I know the Vast Fame games are a bit more popular here, thus I don't expect much luck with those).  I do not really care about variations.  I would prefer the games to have their original boxes, though if you have something that I need then I may consider it even if it is missing the box.

I also have a few goodies for trade (other Sintax games and Gowin games mainly, but also some Famicom stuff and maybe a few Sega Mega Drive gems).  I probably won't be able to get a list (or in the case of Sintax, pictures of what I *do* have) until Tuesday at the earliest.  With that being said, I am very serious and hope that (a) someone has some games I need for my collection and (b) that we can work something out, either purchase or trade.

Thanks!

Other Pirates / Super A'can - Game Flickering
« on: October 28, 2012, 09:30:26 AM »
I recently managed to pick up a few games for my Super A'can and I sat down to play them tonight, and I ran into an, err interesting, situation.  When playing most of the games, I have experienced some flickering of the main character and sometimes the enemy sprites.  Sometimes this is worse than others, but I mostly noticed this on the action games, such as the Super Mario and Sonic "clones" and Sango Fighter, and to a lesser extent on the baseball game.  The RPGs and the monopoly-esque game were devoid of such nonsense.  Now my question is as follows:  does anyone know what the cause of the flickering might be from?  When I watch videos of the gameplay in action on youtube, I do not notice any flickering, etc.

I guess there might be something wrong with my console?  Any other thoughts on the matter?  It is truly a shame, as I just want to be able to play these things.

Bootleg Bazaar / Taiwanese Mega Drive Games for Auction
« on: August 06, 2012, 03:27:32 PM »
Hi,

I have some rare Sega Mega Drive titles for auction, and they are all ending not so long from now.  I think one will end in less than 24 hours, with the rest to follow.

777 Casino:

Barver Battle Saga (aka Final Fantasy):

Rockworld (Mega Man World)

777 Casino seems to contain nudity (I don't know for sure though, I suck at casino games), Barver Battle Saga is a popular RPG game, and Rockworld, well we all love Mega Man, right?  Some of these have 0 bids, definitely worth checking out!

Pirate Talk / My Bootleg Collection
« on: May 07, 2012, 01:47:43 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm new here though I have collected NES games for 10+ years and recently started branching out into collecting bootlegs and unlicensed games for other systems besides the NES and Famicom.  I have been reading this forum as a guest for about two months, and really find the information to be quite useful and interesting.  Owning several Gowin and Syntax games, I really find this an interesting forum to visit.  I thought I would post two pictures from my collection.

As one can tell from the pictures below, I have quite a bit of bootleg stuff.  I also have some single game cartridges that are pirates, but I did not take pictures of these as they are simply boring Famicom carts containing one game each.  The following pictures show some boxed goodies as well as some individual carts.

Everything in the next picture is also potentially for sale/trade, if anyone is interested.
