Title: Bootleg Lion King Gba
Post by: grandlewon on August 02, 2016, 12:26:48 PM
When i was a kid i had Lion King game for gba.I remeber it having like 6 levels. It's a platformer.I don't think it was a licensed game.I lost the cartridge.I searched on the internet, but not found any information about it or any screenshot. If you wonder,i live near Moscow,so cartriges existed in this region.
Have somebody here has any information on this game?

The only bootleg Lion King GBA games I know of are emulated NES games, maybe one of these?

Or if not, it could be an undumped Sintax game. Did it have the same music/gameplay as this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuMVayoVm6A (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuMVayoVm6A)

I hope someone will find it and dumped the rom or made a playtrought one day. This game is very important to me, it's the first game, i owned. Also here is the other gba bootlegs,i can't find anywhere.
1.Sintax Mario game. It's anoter Sintax game with simular gameplay.
2.Metal Slug X bootleg. It has nothing to do with official gba Metal Slug game. All i remember is there being aliens from real Metal Slug X and the game crashing on second level, at least in my cartrige.
3.Contra 3.It's not the official Contra Advance. All i remember about this one is the final boss being three heade or two headed dragon.

here's the Sintax Mario game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggKYArHtjI8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggKYArHtjI8)

Not sure about the other two; maybe Contra 3 was this one emulated? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUJ9EUB8VAk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUJ9EUB8VAk)

Sintax did make a Contra game for GBA, but it was called Super Contra 7 (not to be confused with the NES Super Contra 7). I haven't seen any footage of that particular game, but here's a Star Wars variant on the same engine: https://youtu.be/DSc-6l6Mo-E?t=170 (https://youtu.be/DSc-6l6Mo-E?t=170)

No idea what Metal Slug X could be, though. Maybe another game on that Contra 7/Star Wars engine?

1.Yes,that is that Mario game.
2.I think now Contra bootleg is on the same engine as Star Wars game.Maybe i badly remembered and it's called Contra 7, not 3 or there is 2 Contra bootlegs?
3.I don't really remember Metal Slug bootleg. It could be the same engine, but i don't know.

Thank you again!
