Well, I have a theory about The Legend (I'm not believing in this totally but it's possible) that despite the copyright date, The Legend COULD be an earlier version of Street Fighter IV instead...
  • Obviously there is no "Street Fighter IV". This could have been slapped on so it can sell more. Also the bar between the Chinese name and Street Fighter IV isn't there.
  • The portraits are wider then the original ones like if they were planned to be cut off. Also Chunfo's lacks a box around his portrait.
  • Clones are gone obviously. Those are probably an easy add-on.
  • The 1P is off-center for the cursor.
  • That "READY" pause is (or seems to be) the same length as Street Fighter II's "ROUND #, FIGHT" pause. Many of Yoko's games later on lack this.
  • No select tune, was probably later added.
  • Portraits don't slide all the way.
  • Broken voice samples probably for a placeholder.
  • The ending has Cliffs for whatever bizarre reason which were later changed.

The only thing is that we don't know what game this is based off of, either SFII or Master Fighter VI. This is the reason I'm not 100% believing in this yet.

Also something I noticed recently. The demo in WAR show a high score of 1999. It could be the year when it was made.

I could probably see WAR being made by then. One thing bugs me though is if Abab was around in 2003-2005, then I don't think any EX-Hummer members exactly made anything for Abab except for maybe Harry's Legend which is a hack. Another publisher I can understand though.

Sorry for the bump but this REALLY caught my attention. It turns out not all of Titenic's/Harry's Legend's graphics are really custom. You know the (annoying) fish that jumps in and out of the water in Harry's Legend and Titenic? I think I found it's older brother who is from Earthworm Jim 3 that is from one of the bosses:

I highly doubt that was a coincidence. The Titenic fish looks too similar in order for it to be custom.

That looks like a rip and edit more than a trace, personally I think the same brains were behind both Titenic and EWJ, still unsure about Harry though.

Harry is some advanced hack of Titenic. Meaning they probably still had the code and just edited the game. That one is dated 2002.

If you look at EWJ fish, you can see it looks more dead than alive. That must have been hard to not make it bad.

Well I'm still having trouble with some wires (2 or 3), but I hope everything will be fixed tomorrow.

Some news.
SWMHacker found a way to edit credits screen in Titenic, with this code we were able to load cutscene and part of the title screen (PPU1 only)

I put the cutscene as they appear in the game code:

This picture contains nudity, watch at your own risk.
Spoiler: click to toggle

same screen as Game Over, except the real game over screen is on a different value which means it's a cutscene.

Title screen (PPU1 loaded only, it's a bit complicated to find PPU2 and eventually PPU3)

What wasn't seen in all screens of the game:
Player Select
Level select (may not exist at all)
7th cutscene (in HL there's 7 values for the cutscenes, 2 are glitched, only 6 were found in Titenic).

Well from what I remember of the movie, the cutscenes are in the right order at least. Also, if Harry's Legend has text in the cutscenes then shouldn't this game have that as well?

Yeah, but the cutscenes pictures were loaded using the ending screen. And this ending screen stop any action after appearing (if I load continue screen, it's stuck to 9 ont he timer). We may look for the text but it's going to be hard as HL isn't using the same adresses for a lot of stuff.
