List of important / obscure games needing a wiki entry

(1/2) > >>

Azathoth:
So there's obviously a shit-ton of games not covered by the wiki. My knowledge is really limited to the 16-bit era.

So could we compile a list of nigh profile games or companies that really need a wiki entry? My lack of time and procrastination really bother me, there's a lot of games play on a regular basis that are high profile titles and there isn't any entries for them.

Maybe we could make a working list of people that think are important games that haven't been pages made for. I'd even go so far as to just start a simple stub so people could have a starting point and not be intimidated since there's no entry at all.

I was hoping to either start pages or improve on pages that may already exist. Here's what I'm hoping to start soon.

Suggestins? Volunteers? I'd like to at least start these, especially if someone could help.

SNES
Soul Edge VS Samurai Spirits
Dragon Ball Z Final Bout
The King of Fighters 2000
Pokemon Stadium
Hercules 2

GBA
Digimon Ruby/ Sapphire
Expand the list of PocketNES hacks along with box art
All the shitty Sintax platformers

MD
Yang Warrior Family
Pokemon Stadium
Resident Evil
Chinese Fighter 3 / Lord of the Rings 3
The Battle of Red Cliffs
Pokemon Stadium
Shui Hu Feng Yun Zhuan
All the unlicensed original Russian Mario games
The Lion King 2 / 3
+ More

If anyone wants to help grab screenshots and carts or boxes, or even gameplay information that would be appreciated. I know some lazy hacks like MK6;28 person are lame hacks that wouldn't have a ton of info and may not deserve their own page, but at least people would know what the hell they are since the carts are available in just high quantity

Ideas?

Pepper-98:
Some V.Fame games could use some coverage, especially since many of them are dumped.  I've been meaning to add to those but I've been super lazy about it (my excuse for everything, really.)  The more prolific ones like the Shawu Stories would be a good start.

Azathoth:
I'm completely out of the loop beyond anything 16-bit, other than a half-dozen GBA or GB games, but I either own or owned at one point a lot of the 16-bit stuff. I have lots of pics of carts, boxes, PCBs, and I have such poor taste that I play a lot of them on a regular basis. I really all I can contribute to is that area.

I don't know if the wiki it setup to hold a lot of pictures, but I'd like to see some more manual scans, even if their just partial, of a lot of games. I know the PocketNES hacks are really uninteresting dogshit, but those manuals and to a lesser extent the boxes are just hilarious.

Picrodus:
I could give you pictures of all the pocketnes ones I have. One of them has a box. Though I don't know how to work the wiki so if you want pictures just say so. :)

MLX:
NES/Famicom:
Shin Samurai Spirits (Hummer Team)
Pretty much all C&E games
Pretty much all Sachen games
I think some CONY stuff is missing.
Idea-Tek stuff
Some NTDEC games should be covered
Rex Soft's games.

Companies that need a page:
Idea-Tek
