hey cool! Noticed one weird thing already - in your video of Da Hui Shui Hu it opens with Nanjing & Nice Code logos, but in FCEU it just skips straight to the title screen.
open save file in any hex editor and change last byte to any non-zero value... the program reads this byte and if it non-zero, displays copyright screens on the first start, then writes 0 there and while SRAM isn't reset, skips straight to the title all the time... since there is no non-zero initialization of SRAM area in fceumm, it's always skipping copyrights...

I found something interesting: http://www.geocities.jp/rinkaku89/pachigame/index_pachi.html

Check game #71 there. The last image shows a menu that's VERY SIMILAR to the one in both recently-dumped FF games. So those FF's were made by another company called Shenzhen Jncota Technology.

this menu is from original Final Fantasy game with chinese font support... so it most probably totally unrelated

Final Fantasy X-1..............................................................................Shenzhen Jncota's game (undumped)

(BTW, the FFX1 image above shows my current progress...)

Two based off of Final Fantasy IV (I forget if they're just title hacks of one another or if one has half of the original game with the other continuing the previous)
SpaceNinja mentioned a 3rd part of it on your video footage of the 1st one. Now, we have the first 2 parts dumped, but the 3rd one is STILL undumped. If it gets dumped (maybe soon, I'll never know) we'll see the whole plot of this backport.

(BTW, the quoted text is really small in your post.  ;) )

there's a whole series of those Jncota carts out there, but they seem to be really rare - I saw a listing on Taobao with a pretty big selection of them once, but it seems to have disappeared. D:

I'm pretty much certain that Da Hua Shui Hu was developed by Nice Code. The text display routine and the number font used for the stats are practically dead giveaways.

Forgot about the fact that the video of the actual cart had the Nice Code logo plain as day in the intro. *facepalm* And hadn't gotten to the posts above when I initially commented. D'oh!

(Yeah, I'm having one of those sorts of weeks...)

...and suddenly - THE END and CREDITS.

LOL indeed, although I couldn't expect anything else from a Nanjing-published game other than piles of text during the ending and possibly an image stolen from another game. I must admit that the scrolling-out dialogue boxes are a nice touch, however.

About time that alternate port of FF2 that's spanned cross three cartridges got dumped. Too bad the 3rd cart is missing. So the company who made it is Nice Software, or are they generalizing? Last I owned them I remember the boxes mentioning a company called Guang something. Damn it's been so long. Now that I think about it, I think those dumps came from carts I sold to Qiezei.

Has there been a rip of the elfland game from the 200-in-1 multicart yet?

Ah. I know the 200-in-1 won't load on nestopia. Does the game ripped by itself load up on nestopia or any emulator?
