Other Pirates / Coolboy Handheld Plays Super X-Man

Thanks for those links; I'll check it out. By the way, I heard these are supposed to come with two or three multicarts. I don't see that, though.

EDIT: Forgot to ask: is dealextreme a trustable place to buy?

That's a bit disappointing.

I'm still looking for that console, regardless. It has some interesting tidbits, like single player only versions of Desert Storm and that Super Fight I.

Agreed. >_> The Game Boy version is a lot better if you ask me.
I think most people will agree on that. It's definitely the best accessible port of Contra III.

I don't know how or why I missed this, but DOS Contra/Gryzor is by far the worst port of a Contra game. Contra/Gryzor for C64 is also abysmal.

A nice offender here would be Contra Advance: The Alien Wars Ex, which is a sorry excuse of a port of Contra III: The Alien Wars. Instead of making a playable game, they chose to cram in as much of the source material as they could.

Just not to get you into deep s***, try not to add licensed games, otherwise you could, y'know. :(
Sorry, buddy. The distribution of ROM's, official or pirated, is not legal. Since we're already doing one here, it's not any safer than doing both.

Somatosensory is a word, but it's a really medical-oriented word. I've had to study an entire chapter on somatosensory perception and effectors for a mammalian physiology class.

Because when you visist a non-existent channel, does some security issue message show up? Something about content cannot be displayed in a frame.

The Big Old Arcade / Need video game console help
« on: February 10, 2012, 04:33:44 PM »
I suppose, then, it's gotta be the PSX console's wire. I remember the PSOne edition used a thin gray wire with box adapter. I got the Saturn console relatively recently and it has its own power wire separate from the one mentioned here. I guess that means it's gotta go with the old PSX I had (it short-circuited somehow).

Thanks, guys.

I have a feeling that, yeah, it probably goes to something other than a game console... but I don't know. I mean, it's been down in my game room for months, probably 2 years, now with a bunch of other stuff. I figure if it belonged to something other than a game console, I would have placed at least another part of whatever electronic it went with.

These are the systems I currently have: N64, Sega Saturn, GBA, DS, SNES, PS2 (slim), Sudoku 49-in-1 pirate system, a Wii clone and NES. It goes to none of those, but if by chance it does, let me know.

I used to have both the PSX and PS1 models. I don't know if it goes with either of those, but maybe it does.

Let me know.

Ok, since I can't take shots at of my wire, bear with me.

While re-arranging my game collection, I came across a plug wire that I'm not sure which system it belongs to.

It's basically like this:

the wire/cord and plug portions are like: http://www.nesrepairshop.com/online_shopping/index.php?productID=271  ie, same black and white wire pattern and same flat plug.

However, instead of the box that goes into the N64 slot, the other end looks like: http://www.missingcord.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=124

The Big Old Arcade / Amiga emulation - help me figure this out guys :x

Ah, Barver! It's too bad I came to this topic too late. Assuming you didn't edit your topic just after making it, I would have been more than happy to help you work WinUAE.

Yeah, I remember when WinUAE gave me troubles way back in 2006. Still, it was cool to use/learn how to use. It's actually a great emulator, just too bad the community can be an issue sometimes.
