Brn // Pepper once uploaded full rip of OST as MP3 files, you remember. Full version of GBS file is not available yet, though.
I don't remember that, actually. Apologies. My memory's a bit fuzzy as it's been that long ago

I'll probably ask about it though, to see if these MP3s are still about somewhere.

I remember this game very well, though I did know that theres a GBS rip of its music that I have since a long time ago but, only a few tracks of it are on it. If there is a complete rip of this floating about somewhere or if anyone's kind enough to do this then either would be lovely. I mean, I personally like the woodland theme that's heard just as you start the game. It has this mysterious feel to it if you know what I mean... ;)

Wait, There was a Tom & Jerry clone?  =O
Well I'm thinking of the likes of Tom & Jerry 3 that Dragon Co gave us and such. Sorry for the confusion.

Not heard of these myself, but it's good to know about something new every now and again. Also, your English is good enough. You're better than most others I knew from within the pirate game community when I was most active in it back then. Take that as a compliment ;)

And eh, The Cat King? Sounds very much like a Lion King knock-off... or it could be another Tom & Jerry one. Who knows D:

Well, it really depends... some of their stuff can be complete garbage but some are actually tolerable. Then again, I've not played their games for a while so, I can't remember exactly :P

These guys can barely program, let alone create decent sounding music.
Can that be the same for any pirate game company? :P

Anyways, interesting find, D.D :thumb:

Pirate Talk / The fall of pirate game companies
« on: January 13, 2018, 04:35:38 PM »
I've just been informed by someone that China's pirate game business could now cease to exist when apparently, China is now allowing its own people and businesses to use their own technology and pursue interests outside of their homeland, also given the evolution of technology in itself too, meaning that there's no real reason for them to do what they were infamous of making, from pirate games to weird-looking Famiclones. And other bootleg garbage. Another reason for this is that there is a cultural clash between it and several other countries right now (and I don't know what they are of precisely, probably of political matters). Since this, the people of China have moved on to other places in the world or of having business elsewhere, and thus leading up to the potential demise of them plagiarising stuff and all that. Of course, China doesn't have copyright laws as we all know but, this is the modern era and they've been doing this sort of thing since the 1800s, would you believe.

Even though China is slowly going through that phase and that not many places in the UK, US or elsewhere sell bootleg stuff anymore or have specialised outlets closing down, it's still big business over at Russia, Brazil and Mexico. So with the direction China is taking, is there any need for pirate games anymore?

I know this place has been pretty quiet and this might not be noticed but, I wanted to bring this up to all the people here, and maybe have their say on the subject too.

I can't tell you, but I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that they're pretty common, but only second to Mario ones. I might be wrong so someone else can correct me :P

AliExpress would be your best bet, as that seems to be a popular source for all your bootleg needs.

Also, welcome to the forum :pandahappy:

Yep, it's that time of year where we all be merry and all that, whether spending it with friends and family or alone. Hope you all have a good one, and a safe one too if you happen to be out that is ;)

Also, I hope nobody asked Santa for bootleg games, haha.

Sink is right... this place has definitely quietened down for a few years now and that the original members aren't really around now (except the staff, of course). The only time where it gets more busier is whenever a new pirate game surfaces and then everyone would be buzzing about it. Sadly, this doesn't happen as much although, people have been talking non-stop about Panda Baby over at the Discord server :P

But to make you feel better, I welcome you, to the place of secrets and wonders. Enjoy your time here :)

Man, I forgot how great this site was, for all your bootleg needs. Panda Baby looks rather interesting... to say the least.

It might be too late to ask this as the forum itself has become quiet but, I'm just wondering of how everyone found this wonderful place. For me, as having been a member here for six years (and I can't believe it's that long), it might've been through a promotion that Pepe made about this place within RXComm. I can't quite remember.
