Sorry to post on a thread that hasn't been posted in for 7 months, although really it was already at the top of the list of topics, since people don't post in this section of PGC forums very much. :P

Anyway, I have a another question about the JY Company. :JY:  How do we know they were called "JY Company"? Does it say that on some of their cartridges or is it just an assumed name since most of their cartridges have labels that have a JY ID number? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I wasn't able to find an explanation in the couple minutes I was researching it.

I've always assumed that it was an unofficial name given by collectors due to the part numbers, though I am probably wrong.

The name "JY Company" is actually mentioned in the staff credit screen of Tiny Toon Adventures 6, as "1997 J.Y. COMPANY ALL RIGHT RESERVED."

If that is correct (with periods), then the J.Y. Company might even have a different name, we just don't know what it stands for!

Does anyone have a picture of the Tiny Toon Adventures 6 credits? There isn't one on BootlegGames Wiki, and I'm too lazy to beat the game myself. :P

I also heard that Hummer Team credited themselves as Jing Tay Team in that game too, as a reference to the JY Company. Maybe J.Y. = jing tay? Probably not though if they are listed separately in the credits. \:

Might be good to get together a compilation of the credits for bootleg games. I'll start getting together some of the Hummer Team credits.

UPDATE: all I could find was a picture of Titenic's credits that I took and also a picture I stole of zdog's credits. /:
