Talking about that 49-in-1, has anyone else noted that "Horrible Area" is a bad clone of Data East's "Disco No. 1"? :P

By any chance the game "Lawn purge" is the same as "Mowing"?

Lol, I should read better: Lawn Purge is a 16-bit game and Mowing is a 8-bit game. Why these Chinese guys are so obsessed with lawn mowing?

I realized "Abscondee" has a strange glitch in which you can receive 5 lives at once for no apparent reason. I'm playing these games too much...

I saw the Dreamgear 75-in-1 only one time here in my city. And thanks God my cousin convinced me not to buy it, it was sold by an outrageously high price. A week later I came back and it wasn't there, so I guess a rich kid was bitching like hell in another part of the city.

Another thing: these things can play games made specially for them. Mine came with two: "Deep treasures" (a terrible undersea action game whit the most lousy collision detection I have seen in a long time, and of course lots of Engrish) and "Bumper Cars" (terrible game which is impossible to maneuver) By googling I found this: http://pspkox.wikia.com/wiki/Game_for_PSP_SPMP8000_Und_RMVB_MP_8000 where there are downloads of games for these machines. I wonder, however, who made them? There's no copyright on these games.

EDIT: I just downloaded "Burning Tetris" and it has a copyright saying "(c)2007 Sunmedia Co.". This seems to be their website: http://www.sunmediagames.com/en/

Don't know if this belongs here, but I recently bought a portable music/video player which is also able to play Famicom, Sega Genesis, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games. Brand is generic, "Portable 311 player", but I was wondering how they emulate the games, since it's obvious no real NES/Genesis/GBA hardware is included. Is any kind of information about how these things emulate games on the internet? Specially considering how many NES games have problems: Burgertime kicks me to the game selection screen after losing one life, Zombie Nation doesn't works, Antartic Adventure has corrupted graphics, The Goonies doesn't starts at all, etc.
Also, the selection of built-in games is questionable: it includes Japanese Dragon quest games which are... in Japanese... and it also has such shit like "Baseball" and "Mario is missing", but the games can be easily changed using the included USB cable.

Pirate Talk / Question about a Japanese plug'n'play Famiclone

The worst of all about that N64-type famiclone is that it has only 8 games. How lazy can they get?   By the way, "Deep Fighter" is a hack of "Sqoon", right?

I found this site: http://www13.plala.or.jp/chitose_game/goods/g10.htm where you can check the game list of a Power Player Super Joy-style Famiclone, and I found several oddities that I don't now if they have been discussing before, so I have a few questions:

1) Is that hack of Duck Hunt (game 6) found anywhere else?
2) The 10th game ("Submarine") looks much like the mysterious Christmas-themed Bomberman clone caH4e3 dumped a couple of years ago (see May 13th post at http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/dumping_2007.php). Or is it another game?
3) What game is "Rocketman" (game 11)? Is it a pirate original or it's just a hack? I thought it could be a Son Son hack but as soon I saw the HUD it made me change my mind.

Yes, you're right, it's not Brian Ice. I really know that song, but the loop is so short that I can't remember which one is! It's really annoying since it's a famous Italo Disco song. I think I know who might be able to help me, I'll keep you informed.

We have a winner! My good friend ItaLoverBoy from Youtube recognized the "Select Scene" song as "Mandrill" by Patrick Colby. I knew I heard that song before :P

The title music of "Hoop Legend" is "Bambina" by David Lyme.

Also the "Select sence" (???) screen has a small loop of another Italian song but I can't remember which one, the loop is too short.

I'm thinking the "Select sence" music might be a small loop of some Brian Ice song, but I'm not sure, and I don't know which one. it could be "Talking to the night" or "Over again".

If you check the "威体多彩 VTmc -VT03平台" games of http://tec-cube.com/gamelist.htm, you'll see they're clearly made for a Latin (I'm guessing Argentinian) audience, just judging by the names of the games: "Entrenamiento goleador" (Goal-maker training), "Penales" (Penalties), etc. Plus, the guy of the "Soccer ball" games is dressed with Argentina's flag colors.
