I found a few Mega Drive bootlegs being sold on Ruten:
Some mahjong game I don't know the name of (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21201306250495)
A poor condition copy of Pocket Monster (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21201079919696)
Super Big 2, which won't work on a Western MD due to the cart shape (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21201069149229)
Poker 6 in 1 (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21110057712119)
Magic Boy (Dunno what this is, but I think it's a pirate original) (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21110057712377)
Gunfight 3 in 1, which apparently has the T2 Arcade Game on it (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21109137543567); I'd probably get it myself but I don't have a Menacer or a TV that supports lightguns. >_>
Another mahjong game (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21105190730267)
"13 Cards" (Dunno the real title) (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21105190729715)
A Rockman multicart which might contain that Rockman X3 pirate (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21102202343134)
Magic Boy is likely Magical Taruruuto-Kun by Game Freak, a sadly mediocre platformer. And I'm sure that Rockman multicart also contains lazy hacks like Rockheaven on it.
Some random Famicom stuff on Ruten:
72 + 51 in 1 (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21202242927069). I'm guessing this is the dumped 72 in 1 with a seperate PCB of a 51 in 1 multicart bundled with it.
A 6 in 1 multicart (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21202241703015) with Somari, something called "Wolf Special 36" which I'm guessing is Garou Densetsu Special and one variation of Cony's rubbish Street Fighter II clone.
A 4 in 1 multicart (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21202241692247) with Street Fighter IV and Super Fighter III.
Street Fighter Zero 2 97 (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21202230340863).
FDS conversion of Doki Doki Panic (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21202228724776).

I want that Doki Doki Panic!!! How much is that in dollars? Currency converters say about $317. :O I don't want it that much.
From what I calculated, it'd be about $68/£43 if you don't count shipping costs.
it's +70 and it haven't ended. Usually price double for such thing the last day.
The converter's right. Sometimes Ruten sellers put up pirated stuff for ridiculously high prices...There was a baseball Mario romhack that was up for 9,999 TWD.
The Chinese title of the "13 Cards" card game literally translates as "Super Poker". And I'm almost certain it's by Chuanpu...I mean, just look at it. The character art looks straight out of a Chuanpu RPG.

T2 was the only game (other than the 6-in-1 pack in) that used the Menacer.
I'm sure it's crap but I'd love to try that game out. I wonder if it exists outside of a multi-game cart?
Also, I noticed on the T2 screens there's a row of hearts on the HUD. That isn't in the actual game...wonder what it is?

As far as I can tell from screenshots, it looks like whoever developed the multicart ported over the game themselves. The graphics look more accurate to the arcade original than the official Mega Drive port. I'm guessing the other games might be arcade ports as well.
Lethal Enforcers uses the Konami Justifier, which is only used on LE 1 & 2 and a minigame part of Snatcher on SCD. T2 didn't support the Justifier, only the Menacer.
So just fork over the cash that way I can play this without having buy it, kthnxbai. :)

A lot of different Waixing GB titles. (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13776267472)
Funny you should mention that, I bought a few off this guy recently. they're currently somewhere between Beijing and my house.
Most of the games on the revised Senario are typical Nice Code stuff, but three things jumped out at me:
* "Commando Rescue" is obviously the elusive Desert Storm.
* "Jumping Jay" is obviously the no-longer-elusive Happy Biqi.
* And finally, "Legend of the Lion" totally appears to be Super Game's Lion King port. (Right down to the green rhinos.) How exactly did Waixing get their hands on that one, I wonder?
Oh I've got that Senario thing, I've been meaning to record a video of the Lion King game - it's actually a completely different Lion King port, made by Waixing in 1997...

Yeah, that was my reaction when I played it.. They did copyright it back in 97 but if it was ever released I've never seen it. Same goes for Happy Biqi, Desert Storm and Hua Rong Dao though - I haven't seen any of those on cart but they were all copyrighted in the early years of Waixing.

the guy i bought the 99 in 1 from has a bunch of other interesting stuff - I already bought one of those fishing Power Joys off him and a "hand assembled sample" of a handheld console, but he also has a bunch of different steering wheel plug & plays, made by Trump Grand I think:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794795576 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794795576)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794126989 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794126989)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794122274 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//170794122274)
and one other controller based thing, a 100 in 1 which bizarrely is only available for shipping to North and South America, but I think that's a mistake, I'm sure he'd ship it elsewhere if you asked.
http://www.ebay.com/itm//170794799208 (http://www.ebay.com/itm//170794799208)
And, like, seriously, *someone* needs to buy that one because I want to know what it is and I already spent enough money with this guy. D:
I'm pretty sure the first two are either by Trump Grand or Shenzhen Nanjing; I remember seeing the extra controller on one of their pages.
BTW, I bought a 72 in 1 controller off that seller which apparently (judging from the screenshots on the box) has some hacks of 1st-gen games that I don't recall seeing elsewhere.
Yeah, the steering wheels are Trump Grand for sure - I've only ever seen the wireless receiver (with the first one) and the controller (with the first two) with Trump Grand products, and the other two wheels look identical anyway.
Chinese copy of V.Fame's Sacred Legends(!!) (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=11026pn5.3-3DUzT.h-1NVOA6&id=4334828601&) if I'm not mistaken labeled as Dragon Quest 10 and a generic copy of Rockman Z (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=11026pn5.3-3DUzT.h-1NVOA6&id=4925736315&) labeled as Rockman DX4. Both sold by Sky League.
O: WHAT. I bought Dragon Quest 9 published by Xing Xing and it was a Chinese translation of fucking Crystalis. and then Dragon Quest 10 actually turns out to be a rare Vast Fame game? You never can tell with that company.
Well, that copy of Shi Kong was labelled as FF9 and I got that Pokemon Blue game that had a Harry Potter label on it...It's like those old wonderball candies; you never know what's inside. Anyways, it sucks for me right now because I can't afford it... ;_;

Apparently has 38 games built-in (I suspect it's basically like those 76 in 1 plug n plays with half as many games, although I might be wrong). Taizou might have linked this one already, I can't remember.
A plug 'n play (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plug-Play-AV-TV-Joypad-Game-CONSOLE-8-bit-built-72-games-TOYS-GIFT-FASTSHIP200-/170798806523?pt=AU_Consoles&hash=item27c466f5fb) 72 in 1 which I actually bought one of a few days ago. As far as I can tell, the games on it are hacks (the screenshots look suspiciously similar to Zunou Senkan Galg and F-1 Race) and the face buttons are represented with playing card suits for some odd reason. It also has a switch which I assume alternates between player 1 and 2 controls, presumably so they wouldn't have to supply 2 controllers.

period is retarded. Despite me constantly buying stuff from them, how they manage their ROMs and distributions is rather stupid to me.
Yeah, it's just a shame no one else is dumping unlicensed Game Boy games at the moment...
They already released some of their NES hacks in the latest OfflineList, which was built on January 1st of this year... so those "private" GBC games will probably be released to the public in the early 2013.

Boxed generic copy of Pokemon Ruby by Vast Fame! (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=5814298629) The only thing is that it's from "soundgarden1" who has a habit of posting stuff he doesn't actually have in stock. At least we get to see some screenshots on the back of the box.
I wonder if that really has Pokemon Ruby on it? That publisher has a habit of using misleading screenshots - I have a copy of "Gunstar Super Heroes 2" from them (really a title hack of Sgt Rock: On The Front Line) with screenshots on the back from both the GBA and Mega Drive Gunstar Heroes games...
Still, if it is really Ruby, it should be dumpable (GSH2 doesn't have any copy protection at least) so it might be interesting to pick up.

Still, if it is really Ruby, it should be dumpable (GSH2 doesn't have any copy protection at least) so it might be interesting to pick up.
Well, a listing for the same game, cart only on Sky League's page (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14783722965&) mentions the game being Pokemon Ruby, and I found another copy of said game on Taobao (though in a green cart) that I ordered a week ago, so I'm guessing it's the same. But like I said, the guy had issues on what he actually has and doesn't.
Sky League's at it again with some complete (or at least boxed) Sintax games for sale, including a Chinese copy of that 2003 Crash Bandicoot game I have (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=18088584194&) and the Pokemon Ruby (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=18088400473&) and Sapphire (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=16008879742&) games...For the bargain price of 500 Yuan (even more for certain games like that "Troopers" RPG (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=15985603260&).)

I'm vaguely curious what sort of processor architecture those two handheld consoles actually run on. It's clearly the same hardware between the both of them...
And on "Pntlas vs. Zmoibes"... LOL. What is it with Chinese/Taiwanese companies believing that they can just scramble the letters in a brand name and it's no longer a total infringement of copyright? (See also: "GEMA YOB" and "GEAM BYO" cartridges.) And then, on the screenshot shown on the front of the box, it's "PLANT VS. OMBIES"...

AtGames have cloned that hardware before so it seems like a possibility.
I dunno, seems unlikely that they'd use Game Gear hardware - it's probably some original Chinese creation. Incidentally Focalprice has tons of these if you have a look through their Game Consoles (http://www.focalprice.com/game-consoles-pc-games/ca-011001.html) section.

I couldn't find Ending Man's site, but from what I can gather they make Famiclones. Baobaolong's site (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/) sells their handhelds, and other consoles.
Ending Man used to be a reasonably big name in Famiclones in the 90s, but now it's just a brand name used by Qi Sheng Long (http://www.qishenglong.com). I don't think they have any connection to the original company.

Anyway, the 4-in-1s by Sachen aren't that rare (well, by Sachen standards at least) but that 8-in-1 is, I believe. I think I own that particular boxed version too, now that I think about it..
.
if it was you, when you get it could you let me know what the Journey to the West game on there is? o: that's the one thing i'm really curious about, I have no idea what it is.

A 32 in 1 for the Game Boy Colour (http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21208305074035) which apparently has Pokémon Crystal (although it's probably a hack of something else), Rockman X (Probably supposed to be Rocman X) and a hack of Super Mario Land.

If you're wondering what it is, it's actually a hack of a hello kitty columns clone..
I'm sure Pokemon Crystal is Pokemon Crystal.. I dunno why they'd hack something else and call it that when they could just use the real thing. Same for Rockman X, the actual Rockman X is far more common on GBC multicarts than Rocman X is.

Also, eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed that the cartridge mould looks quite a bit like Vast Fame's early carts (such as the above-mentioned Super Fighter S!), and it has the same "compatible with NEW GAME" burst at the bottom seen on many V.Fame carts. This is likely not a coincidence.

Edit: Oh, duh, that's one of the two Sintax games I mentioned above! Somehow I didn't notice the "ACT" yesterday, though. So either it's not Sapphire, or Sintax is lying about it not being a strategy game (not the first time I've seen that; I think I've seen platformers mis-labeled as RPGs before).
Oh I have that! I got it, like, last week. It's called Pokemon Platinum (in Chinese) but it was released in 2004, long before there was ever such a thing officially. It's a platform game - you can play as Psyduck, Pichu, Abra or Flareon and the all have basically the same projectile attack with different graphics. It's not too bad as far as later Sintax games go, although the slightly-odd jumping physics can lead to missed platforms and swearing and such, and I may or may not be missing some hidden depths here - you have an MP gauge and there are these icons on the status bar but I can't figure out how to do anything with either of them. Oh yeah and the music is from Lemmings again.
...Okay and I just completed it. The final (and only) boss is an Electabuzz. And if the MP bar and icons do anything I never needed them. There's also a scroll you can pick up in each level which serves no apparent purpose, and may or may not be related to the other things - maybe they're all remnants of some unfinished special attack feature that Sintax never bothered to remove. Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to use it yet.

Yeah, I already tried, but it was protected (as usual for Sintax).
Also I'm pretty sure the text on the back of the box is just the story from Sintax's own Pokemon Sapphire/Carbuncle (only in Chinese). lazy, lazy Sintax.
@taizou could you make a video of the game then please? That would be awesome if you could. And btw what is your favorite of those four Pokemon to play as?
Eventually, yeah. And probably Flareon, just because it's a) cute and b) a totally unusual choice for something like this.

All the games themselves are built in. (They're also all Inventor's lazy hacks of licensed games.)

Which, as it's been pointed out here before (http://s4.zetaboards.com/PGC_Forums/single/?p=8027332&t=8358992), uses the same logo as some of Hamy's stuff...so maybe it's the same game, or maybe not? Who knows...

Incidentally the first Arcade Action isn't OneBus at all, even though it looks practically identical.
Digimon D-4 (http://ershou.taobao.com/item.htm?id=17144963707) on Taobao. Anybody know what this is?
99% chance it'll be a SKOB game, they liked that naming convention. No idea which one though - I think they went up to D-9 or something.
This is kinda strange. Might be?
Yeah, given that Nintendo hates Europe (that should be a trope :P ) I don't think they'd ever use the British spelling for anything.
It's a clone, I've got one. It's pretty excellent really, the screen is backlit and it doesn't seem to have any compatibility problems.
anyway Nintendo has been pretty cool with Europe lately. we've had quite a few awesome Euro exclusives that were never released in the US at all (Inazuma Eleven 1 & 2, Pandora's Tower, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Doshin the Giant, Kuru Kuru Kururin just off the top of my head) and a few games even get new/revised British English localisations now. Xenoblade and The Last Story were localised by NOE and only got a US release in the end because there was so much demand for them.

They seem really wide-spread now.
I don't think the second one is a clone - there's a pic of the PCB with a Nintendo logo on it, it's probably a refurbished original GBC with an aftermarket case.

Happens quite a lot - I bought a boxed copy of the supposed original print of Harry Potter 3 and it came with a pirate copy of one of the licensed Harry Potter games inside instead.

The category it's in is NDSI/NDSL, which means it's an accessory for Nintendo DS. Hm maybe -AH it's a backup thing! You'd put the original game you want to backup in one slot then the flash cart in the other. :D

Hey look! An NT multi for GameBoy!
If it wasn't £18 ($29.99) and was £8 or less, I'd get it (JUST FOR SONIC 5 :D )

Anyone know of any Brazilian proxy services? Because I can't find any. Help would be much appreciated.
There are none, I'm pretty sure. Best bet is to find someone who lives over there that would bid for you.
(Figured out mercadolivre.com.br is like literally Brazilian eBay.) Disregard this post. :ninja:

Shoot me a pm if you would like to get in touch with him. :)

How do you get stuff off of mercado livre? Do you need an agent?
As far as I know there isn't a Brazilian agent. I found this guy on another forum who lives in Brazil and he bought what I wanted for me. There's a plus as well. He accepts PayPal. If you want I can ask him if he would be ok with me sharing his email on here. His responses are pretty quick.
Edit: Though it's pretty expensive buying from Brazil. :\

It says in parenthesis "数码暴龙D5", which would be Digimon D5. I think we know what that game is...? I don't, at least. The RPG Qiezei got recently was called D-5, possibly this is the same thing with Pokemon characters instead.

Pokemon blue diamond. looks like something by Jungletac.
Look at the back of it : NJ Pocket, so it's an NJ Pocket. :P
It could say MJ Pocket, but I don't think they'd make a Michael Jackson console.
WAIT it actually says MJ Pocket! :D
nah, it says M3 Pocket... which somehow stands for My Mobile Entertainment. Don't ask me how.
M3 was a flash cart for GBA/DS too. o_o Probably a coincidence.
Yeah probably - the M3 flash cart was originally called that because it was the 3rd version of the GBA Movie Player. (even though the subsequent versions were still called M3 anyway, and not M4/M5)
I bought one of those handhelds similar to that, ZH something or other that has 12 games that are mostly unlicensed ports of some popular cell phone games. It has some like Angry Birds & Plants vs Zombies, and others like Tetris, Pac-Man, & Super Mario Bros (dubbed Risk King).
Probably the weirdest thing is the selection of background music, a lot of it are total ripoffs of other games. So far I've spotted the game over theme from Contra, the Dig Dug main theme, and the theme from the American TV show Cheers (!).
