Did anyone ever contact and subsequently buy anything from this seller?

There's also some stuff from this seller, but they don't distribute to the UK for no apparent reason. >_>
It's usually cheaper to buy directly from that guy's website www.famicong.com.

He used to charge a flat rate of $15 USD shipping regardless of cartridge quantity, shipped via EMS, to anywhere on the planet. He got suspended a while back from ebay for selling bootlegs of commercial MD games, looks like he'll be booted again if his Famicom stuff is reported.

A lot of his Famicom carts are overpriced being that a lot of them are the same thing as what Volumerates carries.
Have you ordered from that site previously?  It's got a few Megadrive pirates I'd be interested in picking up, but I'd like to know beforehand that someone's already tested the waters there.

Super Famicom/SNES / Sonic the Hedgehog 4
« on: November 14, 2011, 05:13:08 PM »
I just had a quick question about the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 pirate cart, and I suppose by extension any SNES pirate cart.

If it comes in a SNES shell, like in this picture:

Will it work on a US SNES or will I still have to get a converter?  And if I do, would a Game Genie do the trick?

Thanks for the info, folks!

Famicom/NES / Basic Famiclone Question(s)
« on: October 06, 2011, 08:15:29 PM »
Okay so I guess I lied, I do have oooone more question.  I have a Famicom to NES converter, which is how I played all my Famicom games years ago.  Is there any advantage to owning a Famiclone or would I just be ahead to save the money and dig it out?

Okay, I think I just have one final question; so the voltage is 100v, is that close enough to work in the US?

Famicom/NES / Basic Famiclone Question(s)

Howdy,

I'm new to the whole Famiclone business, so I was just wondering if they worked on US TVs/outlets, or if they're incompatibile.  I was thinking about buying this particular Famiclone off of somebody, but if it doesn't work then I don't think I'd bother.

My second question is if any Famiclones come with a mic in the controller like the original Famicom.

Thanks for any info guys!

Probably like seven.

So the multicart with the Sonic 2 beta won't work on a US Genesis?  That sucks since all my regular pirate games work on it. :(

I just wanted to mention that I got my order from him a little while back and everything checked out A-OK!  Really nice guy and the whole thing went really smoothly, so if you're eying something he's got I can confirm he's trustworthy and and reliable!

Funnily enough I saw this posted over at Famicom World; a NES Super Mario Family cart is up on eBay.

Is it really worth that much, though?

Ahhh, dang.  Well, I'll probably play it for a little bit and just try and resell it for what I got out of it and buy a repro somewhere down the line.

Thanks guys!
