1993-1999 / NES Games translated in portuguese
« on: February 09, 2016, 03:05:38 PM »
These carts weren't translated (the boxes have texts in Portuguese for sure - but everything written in the games remained in English).

And I've rented "Mario's 2" back in 1991 (or 1992, can't remember). I highly doubt it's a prototype version. As far as I remember is the same game released officially by Nintendo (only without the copyright info at the title screen).

The Big Old Arcade / Tcheco - My first video game (now on Steam!) =D
« on: July 01, 2015, 01:03:16 PM »
I'm very happy to announce that my first game is finally available on Steam.
It's an faux-NES-retro title about finding keys and avoiding enemies. Game is very simple but I did my best to make it fun.

At least in Brazil it's one of the cheapest games available on Steam.
The game even had a review on IGN Brazil (and it got an "8"!!)  :)
Hope you like it!  ;D

« on: February 25, 2013, 09:17:59 PM »
These famous unlicensed titles were finally dumped by bootsector and Edi (FZ20).
I don't have links for these ROMs yet - but the dumpers themselves said both games are availabe on "Sega Forever" message board.

Enjoy! :D

I personally think that the Hummer's version looks roughly as colorful as the original compared to the hack, but not that the hack looks terrible, no. It's worth the effort!

Will wait for the final version.[/quote]You're right. My hack have black outlines everywhere so it will look less colorful (but I prefer this way).
I've posted a new video - now showing an updated title screen + copyright, overworld and "Mario Start!" screens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfFmAOPr-kc

Hacker Center / Super Mario World (NES) gfx hack

Oops, sorry KingPepe! And thanks for your support! =)
This idea already crossed my mind many times over the last decade. I always tought it would be a hard task but it's being easier than I was expecting.
Unfortunately it will be a gfx-hack only. I wish I had knowledge to replace music with the ones created by Acmlm years ago: http://acmlm.cjb.net:2/emu/asm/nsf/SMW.nsf

Hey :)
I'd like to introduce my new project: a graphics hack of Hummer Team's Super Mario World.
All I have to show right now is a video comparing old and new title screens.

More updates soon! Hope you like it!  :)

Pirated Work / My NES Title screen remakes
« on: September 24, 2012, 12:05:58 AM »
Hello! I'm Macbee from Brazil and this is my first post. Hope to make new friends here.

I'd like to share a small project I'm working on. I'm recreating old NES title screens for... well... the NES.
It's just a hobby but I enjoy a lot to do it.

These ROMs aren't interactive and have no sound. They're static screens and I'm only trying to make bigger, more detailed NES graphics for classic games.
If you enjoy this please visit my blog. I'm always adding new stuff there: http://mcbremakes.blogspot.com/
You can download all ROMs I've created and I'd love to see photos of my works on your powerpaks.

Here goes some new title screens for three games: Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, Chip 'n' Dale and Tiny Toon Adventures. See the "before and after" screens (Hope you like it!):
