Thank you, my good man!

I also thought of another one that would be really cool: Ecco the Dolphin: Tides of Time on NES!

Oh yes, oh yes yes yes. That'd be a sight to see in anybodies hands.  ;D

Also! I think it goes without saying, if you wish to get to in touch with me, just follow the links and tips in my signature. Or if you'd rather talk to everyone, we do have an IRC, though I admittedly haven't gotten round to heading there myself. xD

Soulcalibur for NES.With Voldo, cause he is the only reason I like SC.
Also,Diablo or Heroes of might and magic for NES.
I think we've already got a Heroes of Might and Magic port right here. :)

And now that I think about it, I know there's a Diablo pirate too. xD

Theme Hospital :P
Hasn't that Yu Gi Oh for Famicom (one of those NJ carts) pirate got the Theme Hospital music and a hospital at the start?
I took a fair bit of time to try and find it but yep, I think it has. I compared the music from Yu-Gi-Oh to Theme Hospital and the soundtrack in the hospital sounds pretty similar to this.

At exactly 09:28.

I almost forgot, Microcosm (Amiga CD32) would be pretty cool to see a pirate port of too. I just hope they would not butcher the awesome music.  :P
I've only really been familiar with the Sega CD version, which was pretty bad, so I looked up the Amiga version online and damn does it look and sound alot better. But yeah, I could imagine this being ported down well enough, if in the right hands -- the right hands.

Pikmin on Sega Genesis/SNES, I'd love to see what they'd come up with for that!
I'm not too familiar with Pikmin, but from what I know about it, I could imagine it'd work pretty well if, once again, in the right hands. But I suppose that's true for every possible pirate game. xD

Also, I couldn't help but notice that this was your first posting: Welcome to PGC! :D

I've actually thought that a GBC/GBA port of a NIS game (Makai Kingdom/Disgaea, perhaps?) would be cool.  I imagine they would be ported by V.Fame and using a variation of the Sacred Story engine.  Other than that...Ports of the Mother/Earthbound series to the NES/GBC.  I know they did ports to the GBA, but I'm curious about what a proper GBC port would be like...
Earthbound and Mother 3, I could definitely see on the GBC. Giygas on the GBC would be quite the site to behold, not to mention all those trippy background effects. :D

Pandemonium for PC and PS1 was good, I'd like to see maybe a 2D version for gameboy or something :P
(NOT THAT SINTAX PLATFORMER PLZ, Yong Yong would be more entertaining XD)
Is there a Sintax game called Pandemonium? If so, I'd like to see it. x3
No. :(
Or.. Just MAYBE...
*calls Sintax to make a port   *
The game is afoot it seems. >:3

I would like to see a pirate port of Thayer's Quest (AKA Kingdom - The Far Reaches). :)
Oh wow, I didn't think anybody knew about THAT game. xD
Somehow I imagine it'd be something like the Dragon's Lair port the GBC which wasn't a bad port at all, although it sacrificed music.

I bet the Pumpkinhead's Revenge pirate would actually make alot more sense then the original. xD
Unless Waixing got their hands on it... >;)
I actually have the real Pumpkinhead's Revenge, and it makes more sense than you might think. If you know what you're doing.
Egads, man! Don't talk like that! ...They'll hear you.

But thanks for your interest regardless, man. :)

If pirates tried to port these to older consoles, I really would like to see them, if not for any other reason than to laugh at them.

-Harvester (PC)
-Bloodwings: Pumpkinhead's Revenge (PC)
-VVVVVV (Various Consoles)
-Super Meat Boy (PC)
-Minecraft (Various Consoles)
-Contra 4 (DS)
-Super Mario RPG (SNES)
-Banjo Kazooie (N64)
-Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)
-Red Dead Revolver (PS2)
-Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (Genesis)
-Knuckles Chaotix (32X)

I'd be here all night if I listed all I wanted to see.
I bet the Pumpkinhead's Revenge pirate would actually make alot more sense then the original. xD

For me, it'd have to be Streets of Rage 2, preferably on the NES.  :yay:
That would be interesting  :O
I would personally like to see a port of Mercs on the Fami  :P
That actually seems possible. :3
Keep your fingers crossed!

I'd be interested to see what would have happened if Hummer Team ported Sonic 2 and 3 to the Famicom out of morbid curiosity. :P
I did think of those myself. :3
It'd be nice to see some more genuine efforts to port Sonic games, instead of lazy and grotesque looking hacks. :\
Oh, and Yong Yong's games don't count. (They keep coming up, they do. x3)

Recently, we've been seeing games like Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies grace the Famicom. It's very simple, gentlegamers, what games would you love to see ported up/down?

For me, it'd have to be Streets of Rage 2, preferably on the NES.  :yay:

About 6 people use steam here : MLX, SpaceNinja, Awesome Panda, KingPepe, you of course :P and me. Most people here don't have time/money for Steam, sorry. :(
But It'd still be cool to have one :)
Well, damn. But as my finances and time are rapidly heading in that direction I'm more then sympathetic. Oh well, if that truly is the case... lock this thread up, gentleman!  cool:

Very similar to another thread I've seen, but instead of Facebook (which alot of you, very understandably, don't use), how about a group on Steam? I'm pretty sure, due to us being the pirate gaming geeks that we are, that this isn't entirely out of the question.

Your thoughts, gentlegamers? :3

The official port of The Lion King to the NES (Only released in Europe too, I believe). Undetailed, flat, dull and sometimes grotesque graphics, and only one half of the game and that which was left in there was cut down itself! Music wasn't too bad though.
That reminds me, the official NES port of Aladdin was pretty awful as well. Still better than the Aladdin II pirate, but that's not saying much.

Sonic Genesis on the GBA is a complete abomination as well; Somari might not have been good, but at least Hummer Team actually tried to make a decent port. Whoever worked on the former were just lazy arseholes. >_>
Aladdin on the NES may have been rather lacklustre compared to the original but I wouldn't say it was bad, just...really meh. Still fun to play now and then though, whereas the NES Lion King game just sucked, give me Super Game's version any day!

And jeez, I'm surprised I didn't think of Sonic Genesis, guess I just try to block it out from my memory. x3 It's the UNgame of Sonic Games, well...for me anyways. xD
