Game Boy / Super 36F007
« on: January 14, 2015, 02:23:39 PM »
This week i found this little thing:

As you can see, the sticker is almost missing, its barely readable, in fact a big part of the remains of the sticker are loose from the cartridge, and only the tape maintains it in place.
It seems it was used on a GBA, because it ended broken the back shell of the cart at the same height at which the edge of the GBA cartridge well is.
this is the inner menu:

it contains 5 games (the first 5 in the menu), the rest are variations of the same games.

« on: January 01, 2015, 09:32:53 PM »
First of all: happy new year to all.

I was surfing in Aliexpress yesterday searching for a auto-present, and i found a vast collection of cheap multicarts for GBA, 12 in 1, 15 in 1, 10004392 in 1...
and i was wondering if anybody has purchased one, and what thinks the community about this cartridges.
(sorry no links, too many)

« on: October 24, 2014, 06:44:50 AM »
:D Hi guys:
this week i found this cart in a second-hand shop.
It´s a multicart containing 15 games, but in the label contains the following text "TEXTOS DE PANTALLA EN CASTELLANO" display texts in castilian (spanish), i was puzzled by that claim, so i bought the cartridge (I planned to buy it anyway), and i found the following games:
-POKÉMON AZUL (POKÉMON BLUE)
-SUPER MARIO 4
-TOM & JERRY
- SUPER CHASE HQ
-WORLD CUP 99
-SPY Vs SPY
-WWF SUPERSTAR
-DIE SCHLUMPFE (The Smurfs)
-BUGS BUNNY
-MARIO &YOSHI
-DUCK TALES
-CENTIPEDE
-LODE RUNNER
-DR. MARIO
All the games was in their original languages, but the only game in spanish was as you imagine, the Pokémon Azul (blue).
It's not the first time i see a multicart with a spanish language copy of pokémon, but it's the first time i see one marketed in this way.
The Smurfs game doesn't count, it was a multi language.

Game Boy / Pokémon Diamond
« on: September 08, 2014, 01:01:44 PM »
Hi to everyone, the last week, i went to trade some carts with a guy, and he sold me this little thing: (click to enlarge)

As you can see, there is almost no defects in the label, no scratches in the frontal plastic, and in the back there are signs of very very low use.
Its former owner was very upset with this game, primarily because he believed he was buying a original pokémon, and because it was in english, weird english, and he never learned english.

Now i have a problem, the battery is dead, i want to replace it, but, i don´t want to remove the sticker that cover the screw hole.

Game Boy / "HITS-2001 12 en 1" a brief description.
« on: August 24, 2014, 06:31:20 PM »
This weekend i found this cartridge:

It is named "HITS-2001 12 en 1" the preposition, at first sight makes you think is in spanish, you can see in the damaged sticker clearly "poke´mon oro" written on it.
Inside we can observe the following games:
  • Pokémon Oro (Spanish)
  • Lamborghini (English)
  • WWF Superstars (English)
  • Shadow Warrior (English)
  • Tom & Jerry (English)
  • Track & Field (English)
  • Smufs (English)
  • Mario & Yoshi (English)
  • Snoopy (English)
  • Dr. Mario (English)
  • Tetris  (English)
All the games look to be dumped from the original titles, but the Pokémon oro is other history:
This Pokémon, in the gamefreak splashscreen, the Gamefreak logo was untouched, but the name of Gamefreak was changed by "GB Translations PRESENTA"
I searched in the net for a group of translators or fansub doing this job, but i don´t find anything.
The main title screen, is the japanese version in kanji,
but the rest of the game is translated. I don´t played to it more than five minutes.

(EDIT: included new pictures.)
Ok, i find differences in another game: Shadow Warriors, the splashscreen is different, the rest of the game is normal.

The last Friday, i found in a little second-hand shop near Oviedo (spain) some GameBoy cartridges, i bought this cartridge, i was puzzled by the label.
Now, i can't find anything about this game in the wiki, there is a short video in Youtube, but the rest is a complete mystery for me.
