Famicom/NES / Jungle Adventure... hack of The Panda Prince?
« on: February 20, 2012, 05:48:13 AM »
When I saw and played the awful pirate game that is Jungle Adventure, it contained things from The Panda Prince even when the main character has been edited into a brown bear. Kage told me that it's not a hack of said game but I would like proof whether this is a heavily-hacked version of it or is it a new game made from scratch but using things from it.

I sent him a PM inviting him to join the RX Comm, Brydo :)
Would've been better if you told me that in PM rather than on this thread

I use the current version also, even though I did say that I've never upgrade my version of Firefox to the newest one.

And what state would that be? I've been trying to figure that out myself but I couldn't. Mind telling me anyway? :P

I actually understand how to play it, and I've gotten up to level 4 before. If, by any chance, you want to show it on PS, I could supply some footage. Same goes for Space Shuttle Exploration, Dragon Running, Shisen Mahjong 2, Sky Zone, etc.
I'll try to do them with constant savestating, so don't worry. Also, Dragon Running is far too short and I don't think he can do a video of a game made by Nice Code.
And what Nice Code game would that be? And yes, I'd appreciate footage of these short games for Pirate Showcase but I think I can do Space Shuttle Exploration myself. Don't mind if I get them from either Kage or Linkrulezall.

The Big Old Arcade / Computer Games you used to play when you were a kid
« on: February 14, 2012, 04:43:18 PM »
I played a fair number of PC games in my childhood... those were Blast Thru, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, Impossible Creatures, Petz 4, Lego Creator and Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate. About these games... Impossible Creatures was fun to play as I liked creating my own animal hybrids with it and played with the Skirmish mode more than the Story mode and for Lego Creator, let's just say that I liked building things and blowing them up :D

I don't understand War, it's confusing  :O
To me, I find it far too short to play and on average you Game Over like a minute later or less.

Jungle Adventure is a game that made me go "what the fuck?". Seriously. It looks like a shoddy hack of The Panda Prince and all I'm doing is bopping the boss endlessly O.o

Famicom/NES / Impartial Judge hack of Myth Struggle... proof?
« on: February 11, 2012, 08:41:40 AM »
I've been told by Kage that Impartial Judge is a major hack of Myth Struggle, and it's really hard to believe as the two games look so much different to each other (well, apart from the identical fighting engine). So, can anyone show any proof that the game is indeed a hack of Myth Struggle?

I see that Space Shuttle Exploration is amongst the games in the Power Joy Supermax 60-in-1, which caught my attention before. What other pirate originals are there in these I wonder...
