Today's update:

Added some details and screenshots for Holyfield Boxing, NBA Live '99, and Small Soldiers to the rumored games page. This info was mostly scooped from the archived website of developer Handheld Games.

Howdy, y'all.

This has been in the works for far too long and today, I'm nauseous to announce that:

“The end of the game.com” rides again.
www.diskman.com/presents/gamecom

Yep. My formerly threadbare website about a handheld game system that's even less enjoyable than the Supervision [!!]... is back. Now bloated with far more information than you'll ever care to know, to experience it is a grand adventure in masochism. (Though still less painful than actually playing game.com games.)

If you're wondering why I've wasted so much time building a virtual shrine to such a useless piece of plastic stuffed with shoddy electrical components, it's simple: I did it because I knew no one else would. Amen.

So come on by and relive all your game.com favorites!
(I'd say, "You'll be glad you did," but we both know you'll regret it.)

I'm 100% sure that aside from that there will be other languages as well. Since MLX said these were released in Taiwan, i do expect Chinese in both forms, too.

Well, certainly. Look no further than my website for the proof: I have scans of game instructions in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish... and yes, even in Chinese.

the games were released world-wide?

Yes. Isn't that awful? :o

Recent site updates...

• November 30, 2019:
The game instructions archive on the scans page was updated to include Italian language instructions for 2-in-1: Block Buster / Cross High, Delta Hero, Space Fighter, and Super Block. Not exciting enough for ya? Well, keep your eyes peeled 'cuz I've got a few blister pack insert scans coming along shortly.

• December 5, 2019:
Surprise!! I'm back with more blister pack inserts, as promised. So... it's not really a surprise. Anyway! You get 2-in-1: Block Buster / Cross High, and Soccer Champion. Soccer Champion's instructions have also been added, in English and Italian. Urrà! Soccer Champion had proven a tough one to find complete. And 2-in-1: Block Buster / Cross High, I noticed, was imported by a firm named Cammarota S.R.L., instead of the more familiar Watary Italia. Curious!

All righty then! The page for the single-game cartridge version of Cross High actually has some content on it now, but don't get excited 'cuz it's just some screenshots and a note about the (non-)ending.

While preparing this stuff, I've been listening to the soundtrack of the far superior Motocross Maniacs for the Game Boy: the game Cross High poorly ripped off. Irony? Or just common sense? Maybe a little bit of both.

Most recent updates:

Holy schnikes! I was finally able to make high-quality scans of all the Supervision cartridge label variations that I own. Are you ready for a heaping helping of bad artwork? Then you've come to the right place.

Special thanks to Frank Cifaldi for suggesting an effective way to scan the uniquely shaped inconveniently humped cartridges: by laying them over the edge of a .093 inch thick sheet of acrylic. I had to use a Canon 5600F scanner to get sharp, clear images, as my Epson Perfection V39 has a severe case of nearsightedness.

Bought a blister pack version of the QuickShot Supervision online, kindly asked the seller to please protect the cardstock insert against potential shipping damage. So of course, the guy crams the thing into a box an inch too short, and the insert gets bent. Well, whatever. I could still get a scan. And now, that scan is online. I also updated the grey box scans to include the Block Buster & Cross High 2-in-1. Enjoy!

Today's tantalizing website update...

I finally picked up a sort-of-like-new, boxed Magnum Supervision. I've been wanting one of those for a while, don'cha know. I've added scans of the box and instructions now, just for you. I also managed to get the kinda elusive Sonny X'Press complete in blister pack. So in case any of you were “going ape” over the insert & instructions not being available on the website, they're here now.

What else, what else... OH! There's a scan of a Sonny sticker! Yep. It was adhered to the Sonny X'Press blister package, but I carefully removed it. No more monkey business with this last update: a rather uninteresting Hartung Supervision sticker. That's it for today.

Today I've added blister pack insert scans for 2-in-1 Hash Block / Eagle Plan, Alien, and Dream World. The game instructions archive has also been added to: Especially take note of the Italian version of the Honey Bee instructions, which feature hand-written corrections that were simply xeroxed into the finished product! Amazing!! Finally, the ridiculous “Supervision ninja” makes his second appearance, courtesy Watary Italia's fabulous stickers.

^ - You just can't make this stuff up. :o

Yo!

Today there's been some cool [?] updates to the site:

* Confirmation of "Cross High" existing as a standalone cartridge
* Scans of Chinese-language instructions for six games + the Supervision itself
* Scans of a damn near perfect TV-Link box, + instructions in six languages
* Scans of Watary Italia advertisements, featuring the "Supervision ninja" <-- just ridiculous

Merry Christmas!

Yep. And while it would be nice to see some of the other "vaporware" titles surface, I'm tired of spending $$$ on Supervision stuff.

Ha! Super Fighter port, very funny. The way the Supervision's designed, it practically breaks a sweat just trying to scroll its own logo at startup. A fighting game would give it a heart attack.

Thanks, y'all. I'm not much of a collector, if you can believe that. But "research collecting" is something I find interesting and fun. Just a shame I chose the Supervision. :o

BTW: Today I confirmed that Cross High was indeed released by itself, separate from the 2-in-1 package, on cartridge. Just when I thought I'd had a "complete" collection, I had to go and buy this thing. So... *sigh*... guess I'll have to add a new entry to the game list on my website. Supervision = tedium.

Does anybody know if Cross High was actually released on its own like the box shows?

Да, товарищ.

Hello, all. I figure there may be two or three people here interested in this. So let's just jump right into it...

"Many years ago, a beautiful country lost all the money suddenly. It could be the poisonous spider's doing."

Holy Sssnake, it's finally here! The website that nobody demanded!

If you're familiar with the Supervision, you're probably laughing right now.

If you're not familiar with the Supervision... oh boy, are you in for disappointment.

This website is the result of 15 years [!] of research and collecting, and October 4th marked its world debut.

I'm sorry.  :'(

There's also lots of other nifty, geeky, classic gaming stuffs on the main site, which you may enjoy a lot more than this Supervision nonsense...

Thanks for your interest, y'all.
