Famicom/NES / Nintendulator with VT03/VT09 support

I have added VT03/VT09 support to my private build of Nintendulator. Download it here. It runs all games that EmuVT 1.36 runs, plus a few copy-protected OneBus images that EmuVT cannot run. As far as I know, it is also first in running the VT09 ROMs such as Classic Max Lite and VG Pocket/Mini/Tablet. Furthermore, it emulates the additional sound channels that EmuVT does not emulate. In addition to .NES files, it also runs OneBus .UNF, .BIN and .WXN files natively, as long as they're not copy-protected.

Being still a work-in-progress, VT03 modes are only supported in the actual emulator, not the "Debug->Video" window. Copy-protected OneBus images cannot be run in .BIN or .UNF format, because the copy protection type needs to be specified. The .NES 2.0 header's submapper field is used for that.

Also, do not try to run .WXN files converted to .NES or .BIN format; use the original .WXN files instead. (If you must run .WXN files converted to .NES, then most Waixing games use Mapper 176, while most other games use mapper 256, submapper 1.)
i have a very good idea, nintendulator for the PAP K3 PLUS

Don't know if you've already seen this, but I found this website: https://github.com/altr0n/arcade-classics-re

Basically explains how to dump Basic Fun handheld arcades. Can't really provide any more insight past that but it might be useful (?)

I do know that the Qbert handheld hides some strange secrets - apparently it has Centipede (another basic fun handheld) coded inside, and I also found a test screen. Test screen is interesting as A. it doesn't appear on the centipede model, and B. it plays the same music found on all the recent bootleg handhelds (the badass song in the mogis and sy-88b among others). Maybe there's an entire menu in there, and they just forced some random pirated multicart to start at the qbert section?
oh, since it has centipede coded inside, can it be dumped as a nes rom?

tbh I'd argue the GBA port is way better than the 32X version, the controls are done quite well considering the lack of buttons and the music is at least tolerable :v
yes dude, here is my list, why the GBA port of doom is Wicked:

-all 9 Weapons (including the BFG 9000, the Chainsaw, The Fist)
-Green Blood for Censorship
-No boss levels
-all 3 Episodes
-and Much More

I think 'Doom' and 'Street Fighter II' take the cake when it comes to which games have been raped by and tossed back and forth between companies to get it on every platform in existance. 'Doom' on SNES, 32x, GBA = Awful as puke. 'DoomDS' could have been a brilliant idea, since it actually could have run similar to the PC version, but these companies often don't see the obvious.

Street Fighter II on the ZX spectrum, Amiga, hell even the DOS versions (just to name a very small few, there are about 30 billion clones out there) are just abominations. Awful music, non-existant gameplay.. if the fighter is moving at 4 FPS, its a stretch even calling it a fight. The pirated NES versions (Master Fighter II and Street Fighter III) are, and I quote, "Miyamotoesque" compared to 95% of 'official' ports.

If you aren't playing Street Fighter II on a SNES, Genesis or real Arcade machine, you're not even playing SFII since the same skills don't apply.
dude, the gba port of doom is wicked, stop hating on it  :O

Not gonna bother quoting here because of the sheer amount of posts, just gonna answer some random stuff:

* While I don't have one of the "sport" consoles, I have some weird 32 (?) bit system from the same game manufacturers, which feature NES hacks/originals running at double resolution. (video of a similar, but not identical, console is here) I also have a handful of mini arcade machines with the 32-bit games on them, which also includes a handful of the 8-bit ones from the website

* Any thoughts on what else the "boxing" one might contain? The Burgertime, Adventure Island, and Ninja-kun hacks intrigue me, but they're not on the tennis system.

* Has anyone dealt with dumps before? As in sending them to a dumper? I desparately need to get rid of some of my garbage (I have an entire thing of plug 'n plays about the length of a restaurant booth chair - and that's not including handhelds!), but I've never bothered as I can't find records of how to send them, how much they typically cost, etc.
i wanted some infos about the games from this website:http://www35.tok2.com/home/ymktvgame/picen.htm

just found this weird website by complete accident. http://www35.tok2.com/home/ymktvgame/picen.htm

Downloads no longer work, even with the Wayback machine, but maybe these ROMs are still out there somewhere? (I know the downloads are for "videos" but I'm blaming that on bad translation since it also lists the ROM size)
can i have more informations about this website?

If you're on Windows, NRS-Nintendulator is probably a better bet. Otherwise MAME 0.194 has everything before the DGUN-2573 and FC/Family Pocket already. I can make a build, but I'm not keen on the idea of maintaining many private builds of MAME.
do it, i like to see a windows version

Unfortunately I think the MAME on Android thing is a bit of a red herring, as it stands its UI is basically the MAME PC UI with no touchscreen support. I think this will only be useful if you have a bluetooth/hardware keyboard, or possibly bluetooth joystick.

APK download anyway (64-bit only) : http://davidstech.net/games/mame_vtxx_aarch64.apk

I haven't been able to test this at all as a result.

While I'm at it, here is a pack of VTxx games for MAME:  http://davidstech.net/games/multis/MAME%20VTxx%20Pack%202018-02-04.7z
i have one question, is there a version of your mame for windows?

Yes, it's possible, but a number of the most interesting games wouldn't run in anything other than NRS-Nintendulator or MAME because they use scrambled opcodes
yes, especially the vt02 are a mission to seperate  ;)

no NO NO NO NO, you dont have to do this  >_>
