Why so expensive ?[/quote]I know some guy from South America that has one, and I think this game regularly shows up in South America and Eastern Europe on the cheap.  

Why is that auction so expensive, you ask?  For starting price?  Simple.  Western proxy services and Japanese collectors now flood Ruten, and many sellers that have been selling games for a long time have noticed the increase in price on certain items...so they know that if a western or Japanese collector is potentially willing to pay more for it, why not start the price higher to begin with?  I hate to say it, but that is the truth of the matter, the proxy services are ruining Ruten and the like.

The first and the fourth is the same game , using a DIP switch graphics software

So he pay a lot of money for nothing. JY-081 is uncommon but it is not worth more than 20 dollars. I had no plan to win, just to piss off Nada bidder.

I had no plan to win, just to piss off Nada bidder.[/quote]While in the short -term this is an okay plan, I guess, in the long-term it can be bad for others that use Ruten though, imo.  The other sellers are not stupid, and realize when they see some games going for higher prices that they might be sitting on a potential goldmine.  As we all know though, it is hard for them to always pinpoint why a foreigner will find one game appealing and bid high, yet another of a "similar" type to be a dud, so-to-speak.  So some sellers are just starting to list their more obscure titles for higher prices to begin with, just as grandmas and grandpas might list their "Nintendo tapes" for $100s of dollars on eBay or Craigslist in an attempt to maximize profit.  And the sad truth is, if I have been searching for a particular game for 6 months or 2 years, if I see a seller selling it at 100 NTD or 600 NTD opening bid, I will throw down a bid, even if the price is higher.  But in the end, if no one else bids on the auction, then I've just paid an extra 500 NTD to the seller, basically for free.

So while I can understand the frustrations regarding the nada guy, I am honestly not sure that this is ultimately the best solution, especially when looking for the long term.

Well it's not a good solution I know, but he'll just keep on winning the auctions if I do not do that, which is pointless for me in the end. So I have to break the thing somewhere and it could only by doing that.

So I have to break the thing somewhere and it could only by doing that.[/quote]But if you don't want to bid on that game anyway, then I am not sure how it concerns you if he wins that one.  I guess you figure that if he spends a lot of money on that game, maybe he won't have as much money to spend by the time that the next game you do want to win comes around?  

You know I am a big fan of yours, MLX, so please don't take my concerns in the wrong way bro.  But I just worry that the more sellers see these games going in for higher prices, then they will start listing higher (and some already do, example the Kaiser clusterf*ck that exists)

If you still want it, that's about 45 dollars total, at least in Australian money. I know I'm late to the punch here, but milkhunter88, thonburian88, and keen_onx35 are good ebay sellers for famicom collectors. It's a shame retrohouse_thailand closed their account.
