Pirated/unlicensed gems?
« on: December 14, 2012, 09:25:56 PM »
So. Have you guys come across these ones before:
http://bildr.no/view/1331110

From top left corner to the right and onwards:
- Some kind of collection of some random games, not quite sure which ones...
- Double Dragon
- The massive 999,999 games collection :
- Super Contra (this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uC_fJKuFUg)
- Label says Tom & Jerry 3, but it's not a typical Tom & Jerry game. You have to climb ladders and collect stuff with a mouse and not get eaten by the cat (trying to find a video about it...)

2nd row:
- Road Blaster (a car/racing game)
- Super Mario (it says SMB 9, haha...)
- The Legend of Kage on the label, but it's not that game
- Duck Tales (ah, the classic one!)
- Label says Aladdin 3 but it's also a collection of some random games

3rd row:
- Label says Sonic 5 but it's not not Sonic, for sure!
- Kick Master (this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H32fOnJV8E4)
- Northern Ken 2
- Label says Super Ferrari (an oky F1-game)
- Label says Batman 4 (but it is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZNM0zfbEU0)

Last row:
- The same Tom & Jerry game with a different label
- Another collection of 999,999 games...
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctCtsY2zAF0)
- Label says Super Maze Song 3, but it is yet another 999,999 collection......
- Last one; Another classic one: Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers!

I have not seen these kind of games before for a sega console before, so it was a really nice surprise to see all these games gathered and piled up, heh.

Any comments to the collection, hmm? Any rarities to spot?

Maybe that Super Contra I don't see often, don't know about everyone else. But besides that everything else is either pirates of official games, hacks, or just common pirate originals.

That picture reminds me of the many Pegasus lots you see up on Polish Allegro auctions. That place is a treasure trove for this stuff.q

Those Sonic cart (with same label) usually have the generic Somari hack.

So these are holding like no/zero value then?[/quote]I don't think there is a lot of value; there is a niche market for these things.  With that said, there are a few titles I would consider buying from you if they are posted for sale.

Best regards,

Those are newer pirated carts from 1997-present day. Most are probably globtops and are fairly common. Most are worth in the $1-3 range, some are like $9-12 like Super Contra 6 and Kickmaster..
