Hi there!
I've compiled GenPlusGX 1.7.3 as a Win32 libretro library and bundled together with the latest Win32 version of RetroArch. Here's the download link:
http://rghost.net/42623264 (http://rghost.net/42623264)
You might need to install first the MSVC++ 2010 runtime files from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=5555 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=5555)
To play your Mario 64 ROM using this emu:
1 - Decompress the RetroArch emulator 7-Zip package from the link above
2 - Rename your Mario 64 rom file to rom.bin and put it in the same directory you decompressed RetroArch
3 - Run the retroarch-phoenix.exe frontend and click the "Start RetroArch" button
4 - Play with arrow keys, A, S, D and ENTER
5 - Have fun!
Let me know if you have any issues running the emulator!
Cheers,

I know this was mentioned before but the A button doesn't actually cause you to run, just holding the d-pad in a direction for a period makes you gain momentum.
And I still can't beat the second damn level.
Still waiting for andlabs fix before I do anything.
No one made it to the last boss yet?
Laughed my ass off when the second stage began and the song that started playing is actually from Tale Spin! LOL

I think I'm gonna' have to give SMW64 a quick go on my Everdrive cart. :)

I think I'm gonna' have to give SMW64 a quick go on my Everdrive cart. :)[/quote]It won't work without some ROM patching.
Yeah, andlabs posted an early patch on the IRC yesterday, but it's not finished yet. It's playable, so far, at least.
Someone posted a patch here: http://gendev.spritesmind.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1194&start=19 (http://gendev.spritesmind.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1194&start=19)
Is it the same unfinished patch?
Yes, that's (actually on Page 3 but still) the same patch that was linked in the original post in the other thread here.
I tested SMW64 on my Everdrive, and it works perfectly fine. :)
Wow, I can't believe someone actually managed to dump this bastard, well done. I guess now my physical copy isn't worth so much, ha ha.
Oh don't worry, it shouldn't decrease in value from that. It never happened to any other games I can think of.
Yeah, it's still fairly rare to my knowledge so it shouldn't decrease the value much, if at all. Several NES stuff like Sachen and Panesian have been dumped and they're still worth a bunch.
The unlicensed stuff market really only exists to those that are fans of it; collectors of normal stuff think it's worthless because it's "pirated" or is a shitty game. Those types will either price it too low or insanely high.
It's one of the few genres where the price doesn't fluctuate too much, and it usually boils down to what a game is worth to you. The majority of these games are sold for pennies on the dollar in places where primarily exist. I don't know of any bastion of games where Earthbound or Kizuna Encounter are sold on open air markets for $3 USD.
I've got some things that I paid high dollar for that I couldn't sell for the same amount if my life depended on it, but they were worth it to me.
BTW, the rom works without patching on the latest SVN build of MESS:

It's gone, unfortunately.
It,s GONE :_(
