I know there's a Game Genie code that changes the story into Chinese and changes the title screen.
Code was: AANGAIPA[/quote]Oh, that's interesting. The altered title screen has the NT logo instead of the K one.
Edit: Not that this was big news or anything, since one of the hidden copyright screens also had NT's logo. Still curious that the two versions are credited to different companies, though!- Title: Unused levels in Panda Prince
Post by: MWK on December 08, 2013, 06:15:26 PM- I'm sorry for diggin this up, but I wasn't exactly sure where it'd be the most suitable to ask while not creating a separate thread.
I've recently picked up 2 (two) "Panda Prince" cartridges with identical PCB's (NT-858/A9712) and unfortunately I can't get them to work on ANY kind of hardware I have (Twin Famicom, Pegasus famiclone, Ken-Kid Famiclone, Entertainment Computer System NESclone, First Austria NOAC and a shitty PolyStation NOAC famiclone). All I got is a blank screen... Believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING. PCB's looks intact, pins have been cleaned, all lines are fine, what is going on then? Do you have any ideas?Spoiler: click to toggle
Is it possible that they both are dead? Isn't that just too much of a coincidently bad karma? :'(- Title: Unused levels in Panda Prince

Post by: taizou on April 21, 2015, 04:42:52 PM- I'm not sure if the currently available Chinese ROM was even dumped from a Chinese cart - the Chinese version is already present inside the English ROM, you only need to change one byte to enable it, so it might just have been hacked from that..

Post by: TALUIGI on April 21, 2015, 05:24:14 PM- Or the creators just made Panda Prince in Chinese, so they can before, translate to english, and after that, enable the chinese mode, so they can resell the same game to china.
That's my theory.- Title: Unused levels in Panda Prince
