AtGames originals

taizou:
no.

missy-tannenbaum:
Hello! I apologize if this is an unfair bump, and if so, please feel free to delete my post. I have an AtGames Genesis with 40 of these original games on it hooked up to my TV right now, though- the ones that are listed here stand out to their relatively slick interfaces and non-horrific-nightmare-music, but some of them do seem a bit more disturbing, with strange, off key music and blurry graphics. The Freeway knockoff (I think it's called Cross the Road, creatively enough) even has a typo, which is a bad sign when the entire game only contains one line of text and it ends up being "All Rights Reserve." Would it be in any way helpful if I posted a list of these with the ones credited to Tectoy (which seems to be the only company willing to cop to these) marked off in some way, or are the contents of these machines pretty much common knowledge?

taizou:
yeah, that would be helpful, thanks!

missy-tannenbaum:
All right, nifty! I did my best to divide this list by developer, when possible, and title screen commonalities when developer information was not given. Though my photos, taken with a 3DS of an old fashioned TV/VCR, are not the best, I hope that they can provide some sort of information about the games themselves. If you guys would like any other low-tech pictures of title screens/gameplay, let me know! I can provide some gameplay information on these if anyone needs it, too. I admit that I play the Genesis games far more often, but it's not at all a chore to click on the machine and play any of these for a little bit.

Tectoy/Devworks titles
Air Hockey
Bottle Taps Race
Cannon
Checker
Fight or Lose (This is the only one marked 2005- the rest are either 2000 or suffer from screen cropping at the last digit of the year)
Mr. Balls
Naval Power
Spider

AtGames Holdings, 2008
A lot of the "originals" on this machine are bad, but this set of games is blurry, unplayable, and plagued with the sort of music that makes you think of clowns murdering people.
Mahjong Solitaire
Memory
Snake
Warehouse Keeper

BS Comp Ltd./Padis Ltd. 1998
Chess

Slick interface- Matches the games previously discussed in this thread

Mirror Mirror
Panic Lift
Reaction Match

1 Player/2 Player/Instructions Title Screen Prompt

Press Start/All Rights Reserved interface

Cross the Road
Curling 2010 (which is actually dodgeball, but fair enough)
Jack's Pea (AtGames stole the music from this and somehow made it terrifying for their Mahjong game)
Jewel Magic

Flashing "Press Start" Interface

Fish Story

Awesome Panda:
I own a separate cart of 40 of these games. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on a real Mega Drive (or indeed anything that has even half-decent sound emulation) so I don't know if it'd be possible to play them on one.
