you can play NES games with the converter, not N64. If it won't power on it could be the adapter yeah, you can replace it with one from a model 1 Mega Drive (but don't use one from a European or US NES)

So i cannot find a new adapter in Norway, can I find one on ebay or someplace like that?
*use not find, if I can not use any adapter from Norway/Europe, do i look for it on ebay? or where can I get one?

Probably, yeah - I think a Mega Drive one would be easiest to find. (at least that works with nearly every Famiclone I own - it depends on the specifications of the original adapter though). Although if you took the original adapter to an electronics shop they might have a suitable replacement I guess.

Im kinda on a mission to prove that something in that box of toys i bougt on an auction was worth my time of day, since all the other stuff in it was rubbish :)

Yeah i hope so, if not, i now actually found a store nearby me that that sells NES stuff and specialises in restoring/repearing it, maybe they can take a look at it. They should have a clue then shouldnt they?

I'm sure they could know what to do. Famicoms aren't much different to the NES, aside of having a different cartridge slot.

Yeah, as long as they at least know what a Famiclone is (and they know not to use the NES adapter with it - the NES' outputs AC but Famiclones and Famicoms take DC) they should be able to sort it out.
