Wow, this looks pretty nice
At first I even thought that they've ripped the graphics from Super Game's Lion King. After completing the first level I saw the difference more clearly, anyway, good work for Waixing. Controls may be a bit more light, but this one is still better than the licensed Gameboy port  That "level" setting also made me surprised. I surely should give it a closer look. Something really fresh and doesn't seem to be a complete crap. Does anybody know how many stages are in this game? There are 7 music tracks as I understood, but I haven't listened to all of them yet.
BTW, can somebody tell me are there any other Waixing's platformers already dumped (except Wizard of Oz, Doraemon and The Lion King Legeng)?[/quote]1. This port has 6 (yes, SIX) stages, and in the fourth one you must collect the bugs in order to evolve. BTW, the level setting is
actually a difficulty setting, although I don't know if level 7 is the hardest or not because I think all of those "levels" are the same. And there are no passwords for each stage, that's why you can't select the Password option.
2. Yes, and most of them were decrypted from an unknown format named "WXN" (more info
HERE). These are: Happy Biqi III - World Fighter, Jing Hua Yuan, Zheng Jiu Shi Ji, Zhen Jia Hou Wang, Super Contra 7, Golden Axe, Dragon Knife and Tian Wang Xiang Mo Zhuan.
