Does anybody know what games are included on the different models of the Power Joy line of famiclones? Also I'd like any other information about the differences between them. Also, the one I have right now runs on four AAA batteries, even though all the things I read said that it ran on AA batteries. Do some models run on AA batteries and some on AAA batteries?

well there are a *lot* of power joys out there.. they're still using the brand name today on various things.
the original (I guess?) would be the N64 controller/gun hybrid design, some of these (maybe all of the originals?) had 10 hacked games built in. the earlier version came with a 64 in 1 multicart of mostly standard Famicom games, later with an 84 in 1 (of which there seems to be a few variations). there were a few more variations with, I think, the same 84 game set, the Power Joy III, Voyager and Solo (maybe?).
after that they started releasing versions with Nice Code games bundled, like the Supermax (60+30 games), Navigator (50 games), Streamline and Mega Racer maybe?
after that point it seems like the Power Joy Ltd company in the UK that had been coordinating international efforts was shut down, and the brand was then used by Trump Grand (the original manufacturer in HK/China) on a whole range of cheap famiclones, which seem to have been mostly sold in the Middle East and China (if they were sold anywhere at all) and mostly reverted to including sets of pirate Famicom games rather than any original Nice Code stuff. and that's how it's continued to this day, with ever-diminishing build quality.
and as far as batteries go, I think all the ones in the "classic" N64+gun powerjoy design take AAA batteries, some others probably use AA, some use AC adapters..

OK, thanks. Mine is the N64 controller light gun shaped one that has the 84-in-1 multicart (including Pandamar) and 10 hacked games built in. Do some of the other models have any interesting pirate/hacked games that weren't made by Nice Code?

Yeah, the Navigator and Supermax have some Hummer Team and Inventor games and some other random stuff. Mostly Nice Code though. The ROMs for those have been dumped by cah4e3 if you want to try them.

I remember playing with a friend on a Power Joy that looked like a DreamCast controller, with player 2's controller looking like a Dualshock. It said "Digimon Aventure" on the boot screen.

I tried playing the Supermax and Navigator ROMs on NEStopia, but they won't run. Which emulators would be able to run it that are on Macs?

Also, BootlegGames Wiki also says that there is a hack of Pokémon 4-in-1 (http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Pokémon_4-in-1) called Pet 4-in-1 that's included on a Power Joy multicart. Which model of Power Joy has that hack?

Hummer Team games - the Supermax 60 in 1 has "Catcher" (War of Strike Mouse), Dragon Running, "Military Man" (War), "Three Country" (Sanguo Chunqiu: Sichuan Sheng), Panda Adventure and Space Shuttle Exploration; the Navigator has all of those plus "Finger DDR".
Two of the Pet 4 in 1 games are listed separately on the Supermax 30 in 1 as Pet Dance and Pet Slot, but it's possible to access the full Pet 4 in 1 by pressing B on the Pet Dance title screen.
as for emulators that can run the Power Joy ROMs on a Mac, no idea, sorry. they run in Cah4e3's modified version of FCE Ultra (http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/fceultra.php) and at least the latest version of FCEUX, but neither of those seem to have Mac versions. not really sure what the state of Mac NES emulation is like but if there's anything out there updated in the last few years it might have support.

Thanks. :) I tried emulating the Power Joy ROMs using that emulator on a windows computer, but it didn't work. It was able to run Super Mario Bros, so I know the emulator is running. I don't really need to emulate them now though, since now I know which games are on them.

The battery cover on my Power Joy plug and play broke. :( I'm trying to fix it, but if that doesn't work, would a Supermax battery cover be interchangeable?

probably, I've owned both and I don't recall there being any differences in the external design at all

Also, what kind of Power cord do the original N64 shaped ones use?
Mine didn't come with one, and I read somewhere that if you use a standard NES power cord you can fry the circuit board.

nope, the Supermax and Navigator carts aren't compatible, sadly.. iirc the Navigator uses standard OneBus but the Supermax swaps some of the registers around or something.
and the original Power Joy uses a 9v centre-negative DC power supply - you're right that the one from the NES won't work (as it outputs AC). if you have one from a model 1 Mega Drive/Genesis that should work, as will the original Famicom's or the majority of other Famiclones. Otherwise just get a universal AC adapter.

Thank you. :) My battery cover broke and so I was playing it by just taping the battery cover into place. That fix was pretty bad though and knowing which power cord to use will help.
