just noticed the Chinese title for "Pockman exe5" is actually "Zook Hero EXE5". not even Rock Hero like their other one. hmm![/quote]Heh, this stuff is confusing.
For those who never noticed this, the spelling used in VFame's Zook games is not the same spelling used in Capcom's official Chinese releases. It's incredibly similar, and even pronounced the same (luò kè), but the "luò" is different:
Rockman: 洛克
Zook: 絡克 (see edit below)
No doubt VFame wanted to retain plausible deniability on the games released under their own label. Or something like that, anyway, heh.
Further confusing things, the Rockman DX3 version of Zook Hero 2, which appears to have been done by someone related to VFame (I mean, look at the PC Paint fonts on the new title!) but was never released with their branding on it, does use Capcom's spelling.
Edit: And this is the peril of trying to identify Chinese characters by sight. Although 絡克 is indeed the name used by Sintax, Zook's name in VFame's games is actually 路克, which can either be luò ke or lú kè. Which explains the whole "road gram hero" thing on the Rockman Crystal box.
oh yeah, i found this recently:

i think that might be the original X3 version, it has VFame's art and everything.
