Am I the only one who really wasn't in favor of the GTA2 port for the PSX? I really don't like using car controls for walking on a console game.
Well, believe it or not, ALL the console ports of 2D GTA games were using that layout. It's actually fine on most occassions... Unless you've really got urge to shoot someone (and aim carefully at that point).
Speaking of, am I the only guy to think that GTA2 on Game Boy Color was actually a decent game for an 8-but handheld, despite its' unbearable music (because almost every video on YT that shows this game doesn't even have missions on it)?
...and that only makes the port of the original GTA even garbagier than it already was. :pandamad:

So, I had recently gotten Everdrive N8 was quite pleasantly surprised to find out that Titenic runs on Mapper 4. Now this game doesn't work in any known NES emulator that I have (Either sits at the non-existant title screen or locks up). So I was quite shocked to find out that the game actually WORKS on real hardware with Everdrive N8. The only problem is that most of the graphics (Not all of them.) are glitched in some way.
I found out this from research:
Nestopia: Loads game, but you can't get any further than the blank title screen. Controls are locked.
FCEUmm: Same as Nestopia.
FCEUX GX: Playable ONLY on the first screen of the first level. Game crashes when trying to enter the kitchen area. Graphics not glitched.
Real Hardware (Famicom/NES): Playable! Graphics will be severely corruped (I assume due to mapper problems?) in some places and some will be normal. I played up to Rose's first level and no crashes, so I assume it will not crash thereafter (No guarantees though. ).
Just some findings I thought I should share with you guys!
To your information, Titenic works perfectly on the FCEU 0.98.15 (which is, pretty much, unmodified: no mm or X stuff after its' title). The FCEUmm does run it as well, but exclusively on its' multicart of origin.
The reason the emulation of this one pretty much sucks is because it's, obviously, a pure rip from the multicart. Considering this is the most complete build of Titenic that Hummer has ever produced, it doesn't feel as complete in sense that there's a lot of stuff buried in its' ROM. Pretty much even more than in any other game you can name: title screen, cutscenes, several enemies, save/load feature (?)... I dunno how come the Start button doesn't work in most emulators, but I'm pretty sure that neither the original console needed that, since 15-in-1 multi runs the thing through a certain address. Wait, that's two addresses, actually.
Still, I'm kinda surprised you've managed to run it on a flashie! :pandaaway:

That's what I was thinking. What's with pirates and random numbers?
Question. How come those numbers are random? They're totally, like, series!
Another question. Where did Parodius got all the rumors from? :pandaaway:

I voted for Bible Adventures because I don't think it's all that bad... After a while playing it you get used to the bad control and it doesn't seem so bad anymore.
Of course it's not bad. It's pretty much laughable. Literally, I dunno for how long I kept kekekeking before I turned the emulator off.
Still, gave a vote for Street Fighter 4. Just because I feel fine with its' physics.

ether way that game sucks! wish there were other pirated zombie game or homebrews or hacks for nes, snes, sega. someone should make a zombie hack of doom for sega.
The entire game sucks because it's merely a romhack? Wow. Totally neat logic here.
Also, I don't recall Doom being ported on the unexpanded MD... The closest you can get to this experience right now is Wolfenstein, naturally.

Not really a new dump, I'm afraid. Pointed out by Azathoth in an older thread, it's actually a hack of Body Count, sadly.
Keep in mind that this site was last updated in June 2012, that is, almost a year ago.

What now? :\
I guess there's no need for treating it like a "new dump" anymore then! Should I close the thread?

http://oxygenint.com/ It might be a squatter site, but I can't tell.
Uhm... Yeah, it is a squatter indeed.
However, as far as Wayback Machine points out, this site previously belonged to Oxygen Interactive.

The box is all in English, but when I looked up the developers I got some site in Russian so I'd assume so.
Ooh, so it's a lame import right here...
What was the site, by the way? PM me for that.
