..according to the bloke from VR the Famiclones are NTSC (hence why I'd consider ordering one because all of mine are PAL apart from the Cyber Arcade Center I have) so you might want to check just to make sure that your TV is capable of an NTSC signal.
BTW, has anyone else noticed that the cartridge designs are ripped off from Jaleco's later Famicom carts?[/quote]Thanks for the warning Cheetah. I checked it out, and thankfully it is NTSC compatible. And yeah.. Looks like they have that same little slip-on thing for the bottom of the cart, which is interesting.
Im hoping the cartridges I bought will also work with the Famiclone they're providing  .. I got the 2nd most expensive one, whish was still really cheap. Hope it works enough to at least function right, though Im sure there will be sound oddities.
I don't find the sound innacuracies to be much of an issue, I'm more concerned with PAL slowdown myself. I'm not buying one of those clones unless I know it's NTSC. I have a Famicom that's apparently capable of both (although the PAL mode doesn't seem to work) but some pirate carts don't work on it and all of the clones I have with cartridge slots are PAL. :\
Also, those carts should work if you have a Famiclone. :)
This is amazimng! I'm getting some! Thanks, david stech!
