If the game has rising water and Harry's Legend could do that even though it didn't, would that mean Titenic was first?

What's interesting is that a good number of these Qi Sheng Long games are ones that Waixing also holds a copyright on. Boxworld, for instance. (Edit: This would explain the name differences I've seen, as QSL's version is Boxworld, while Waixing's is Boxes World.) Maybe there was a 3rd party that developed these games for both Waixing and Qi Sheng Long?
Really? I thought the game names were updated on some Famiclones to get rid of any Engrish. For example, Shooting Balloons is misspelled Shooting Ballons on some of them. (I've seen a 16-bit version that has the same error) Also, on one 16-bit Wii clone one game is called Dancing Girls on the menu but Dance Girls in the actual game, which I can't understand.

What's interesting about the FamikonYarou 54 is that although most of the games are the hacks of licensed games found in the previous Yarous, there are a few possibly Waixing-developed originals mixed in. Seriously wondering if there's some sort of connection between the hacks and the originals.
I'm not sure about that. I doubt even Waixing could do hacks that badly. Also, the hacks themselves don't have those weird copyright dates that the originals (and Super Contra 7) have. Also, if I remember correctly in Bounce (a bad hack of Mappy) there's a copyright that says "2000 New Product" or something like that.

Probably about the same odds as two pirate developers porting a game to a system that it had already been ported to officially. (Mega Drive Aladdin, in case you couldn't guess) Anyway, is anyone sure that these games are by two different developers? As far as I can tell that's the case, but analysing Terrifying 911 might help.
Ah, this is true. Why did I not think of Aladdin? Heh.
And it may very well be possible that Terrifying 911 was by BBD; I don't know why I didn't think of that possibility. The two Hitek RPGs that I mentioned both seem very Sintax-ish, not to mention that both Metal Slug knockoffs use the fonts from PC Paint...
Yeah. I was thinking (as stupid as it sounds) that Sintax (or whoever it was that made Metal Slug 2001) made both games. The graphics look somewhat similar from what I could tell. (with the colour blotches in the backgrounds, at least)

Yeah, I know it's confusing. Two completely different Metal Slug knockoffs, both with 9/11 storylines. What are the chances?
Probably about the same odds as two pirate developers porting a game to a system that it had already been ported to officially. I added a page for a Lord of the Rings game for GBA. I'm wondering if there should be a separate category for GBA, since Game Boy implies monochrome or color, not Advance. I can't figure out how to add that as a new category though so I assume only admins can.
I'm pretty sure anyone can do it. On the LotR page, you add a category called "Game Boy Advance games" and then in that page you add a category called "Games by console."

I just found a YouTube recording of the Vangard GameCore, in three parts, for those who want to see at least some of this thing's games in action (alas, the guy got bored before finishing off the whole thing, it seems):

Edit: And oh gah, I just realized where I've heard the music in Jungle Adventure. It's a really bad remake of a tune from Boogerman! Here, compare for yourself, with this Boogerman speedrun. It sounds very much like it might've even been hacked from Rex Soft's port of Boogerman.
Edit #2: That is so Sachen's sound driver in Magic Block. Wow. I think I've seen that font used in their games too. How have I not seen this game in existence before?
I think he stopped making videos of this because the GameCore kept breaking, which might explain why some of the games on there don't work. (either that or the multicart runs on an emulator which doesn't fully support it or something) Also, a game that mixes Panda Prince and Boogerman II by Rex Soft? There's a link I wouldn't have thought making. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a Sachen game called Magic Block. There is a Tetris knockoff by them called Magic Cube, but that's a different game which (I think) uses a different sound engine.

Edit: I added a Sonic 2 Beta page, seeing as I had all these pics of pirate carts and it's personally one of the rare items I'm after. Anyone think there should be a separate section of the wiki for that prototypes that got pirated?
I'd agree on that, if we can come up with enough pirated prototypes. Also, on the StH2 beta page, should I add information on the individual zones or link the article to the Sonic Retro page?

I wonder if ABABSoft have more than two tracks original. One sounds like a fishing programme's music and the other one is way too Somerish.
And one of them is based off the World of Card Game menu. Either that or both songs were based off some obscure Chinese song or something.
