Little offtopic. The title theme of Sachen's World of Card Game is exactly the same song as in Panda Adventure ('level' one). No idea what song that originally was?

2. The Hummer(!) - Somari hack (probably - its described as a Sonic hack)[/quote]
If they didn't invented a new engine, then they probably did use Somari for that. The GFX are from Somari (final boss) as well (except for the Hummer himself).

So this is it. Everything about the 8/16-bit music! Game and non-game, GXSSS and non-GXSSS, your stuff and others' stuff. Well, first, some stuff from mine, all works on real NES.

Talking about the works of others... ehrm... well, right now, I may give credit to the following OSTs (so the link above wouldn't look like a stooped ad):
 - Summer Carnival '92: Recca - well, that's my #1 favorite. The game ROX. The graphics ROX. The speed ROX. The music is just pumping and DOUBLEROX. Seriously. Fits the wildness and atmosphere just exactly.
 - Gimmick! - I know Sunsoft always created kickass music for their games (even for really old Fester's Quest, I like this too, wish that the Addams Family theme was longer), but this is just plain awesome. Of course, they haven't used a regular mapper this time, ending up with having a brand-new mapper with their own sound chip that adds three instruments to overall 2A03's cast. I don't usually prefer having additional music chips in games, but this is one of the few exceptions.
 - Tom & Jerry - Spectrum-style music at its' best. Loved this game, still love it, also love these 8-bit replicas of the original T&J themes, even if there are two overworld themes all in all.
 - Unchained Melody multicarts - well, that's obvious why I listed this here. If you don't get the trick, then you haven't owned them in your childhood.
 - Lion King 5 - if Li Meng made this, I'm gonna kiss him in the cheek. Really, could you expect a pirate game to have such FREAKING AWESOME MUSIC?
 - Herzog 2010 - ...argh, okay, I'll give a shot to my project too. I really couldn't expect that I'll create such awesomeness without using the expansion chips! My-my.

Okay, as the topic's started... tell us what you like. And what chiptune awesomeness you have found recently.

Well, I know I already did a similar topic on RX Community (http://s1.zetaboards.com/The_RX_Community?topic=3064690/1/http://s1.zetaboards.com/The_RX_Community?topic=3064690/1/), but oh well, since I'm a mod and the topic is pirated stuff, why not?

What? You didn't know that there was a Dune II port for NES developed? Well, there WAS one, developed by one unknown guy from Kazakhstan...
http://dune2nes.narod.ru/
Screens:

NOTICE THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED BY NEW GAME COMPANY (My comment on this: Fff...) Half-pirate game
Unknown if this is a fake (could be clear if he'd make a gameplay video and gave us a beta ROM), but the description on the site is SO informative that you understand that the guy really has a head for programming on NES...
But the site was freezed, I guess, from the very beginning... that's the end of 2008.
Year later, one guy on one forum (PM me if you wanna know what's that) who actually left only ONE post as a guest said that Dune2NES is already available in stores for Dendy Portable (ehrm... PM for this too) and he promised to dump it 'For The Chosen'. Obviously... that dimwit lied.

Okay, now your opinion on this side-story. Do you think it's PROBABLY fake or could be available if the author wouldn't abandon the project? Or, either, should such projects actually exist on NES?

P.S. Forgot to mention. He promised to post  the ROM for free on that site as soon as the project's ready.
