Title: Baobaolong Handhelds
Post by: AttackedbyGlitch on August 08, 2012, 05:20:29 PM
In another topic, I found some bootleg handhelds with unique hardware made by a company called BaoBaoLong. By exploring their site (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/), I found four consoles using this hardware: a 12-in-1 (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/495045226-209733846/2011_hot_cheap_handheld_games_player.html), a 14-in-1 (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/283518217-209733846/Mini_Colourful_Handheld_Game.html), a 20-in-1 (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/583835710-209733846/Angry_birds_game_20_in_1.html) and a 32-in-1 (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/585053049-209733846/for_psp_angry_bird_game_32_in_1.html). From what I can gather from the information on their site, the handhelds are 16-bit.

I have something similar, same games as the 20 in 1 but it looks like a crap little PSP. Qi Sheng Long makes some handhelds using the same hardware & same games too, I have no idea who developed them originally or what kind of hardware is really in there though.

The 14 in 1 seems to have games not found on any of the others - maybe that one uses different hardware?
Here's another with the 14 in 1 games:
http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/295433068-209733846/Mini_Colourful_Handheld_Game.html (http://baobaolong.en.alibaba.com/product/295433068-209733846/Mini_Colourful_Handheld_Game.html)

they have different product numbers to the rest (MN-1 and MN-2 where everything else is BBL-something) so that does kind of imply there's something different going on with these two.
